Hands down the very worst consumer experience of ordering an expensive clothing item culminating in my husband having to drive from the West Country to deliver it back to them. All easy running until the moment of return. Website fields refused to load, chat function out of action, CS line goes straight to a recorded message informing that the -phone line is now closed. This has been the case for 12 days in a row morning noon and night. I have endeavoured to bring this return to a conclusion across almost 2 weeks. In desperation, I have spoken to an employee at the Hounslow store and a helpful but baffled lady in the Harrods Grill. She said she would walk over armed with my number and ask them to be in touch, which I believe she did. Still nothing. The Hounslow lady said persevere with the phones; it?s day 12 of a 14 day return window, so with respect, that?s not a plan. They did send a response to one of my online emails agitating for help in circumnavigating the broken web return system (date loads only to have a greyed out time slot and so it will not progress beyond that point and I have tried on various devices/laptop etc) to say sorry about the phone line (clearly entirely unmanned) and not to worry as they could see my return was now in train. Really? That was days ago and still no information pertaining to it. In fact I have been met with a wall of silence. Despicable, illegal treatment of customers putting Harrods in breach of statutory laws. My husband is about to make merry in store, doubtless an apology, doubtless compensation (a day in the car, stress, traffic, appalling waste of our time) but how has it come to this: that a luxury brand of this sort cannot arrange even basic customer support and is breaking consumer laws in the process.

The customer services is absolutely disgusting, incompetent staff who have no idea what they?re doing. Davenyell in particular is the most unprofessional, disrespectful and rude employee of Harrods. I?m shocked at how someone with his attitude and unprofessionalism when writing emails actually still has a job at somewhere like Harrods. I have put in many compliments and no manager has EVER got back to me, there is no escalation process despite requesting calls backs over 1000 times.

Why am I not being allowed in harrods by your security, yet I didn't want to go in, I asked him is cause I'm black and he got angry said I won't be come in , I didn't want to go in the store, so what's wrong with him.
I am disgusted by this behaviour, I was appropriately dressed and polite, i was banned , I didn't even want to go in , so how can he ban me.

This is the most beautiful but expensive shop in the UK other than Dubai Harrods there r3600 staff per day working in Harrods this is in a fabulous spot they have everything the connoisseur needs as well as you've got money in your pocket if you got money in your pocket you can live the high life in Harrods and buy what you want when you want how you want and you can get it delivered but you need money in your bank account
