Big queues, only 1 cheque deposit machine and 1 person working in the bank. If you?re trying to get something done in 10-20 min go somewhere else. Everything takes ages.

I had not used my account for over 30 years, as I moved abroad. Went in, without an appointment, asked to close my account ( as I hadn?t used it in three decades). Couldn?t do it online as I had no logins, no passwords. So it was a bit challenging. But there was the lovely Gina, she helped me with everything. So grateful for her. Gina, you probably will never read this, but your kindness and smile and help, really made my day! Belgian greeting!

Tried to add my partner to my bank account (website says go in branch). The assistant tried to get me to do a long and complicated process myself involving multiple new accounts etc rather than simply adding my partner to an existing account. They then got me an online appointment (they can?t do it in branch) at which I was told you have to go in branch and they can?t do it online! Complete joke and waste of time - will be moving banks!

This bank blocked my account and did not notify me. Then I go and they make me wait half an hour to tell me that I am missing documentation to unblock it and cancel my account. I left sad and angry, I would not like to not return.

Overall poor customer service and the services they offer.Called several times to change the phone number on my mortgage account but after the change I'm still not able to log in.I wont extend my mortgage with them. Time for a change!

Got to this branch at 4.29pm today. I was told the branch was closed. Lady at counter closed down her computer and refused to serve me. All I wanted was a bank statement which would have taken them 2 minutes to print off. Thank you for your service today. You were no help at all. My local Halifax has better work ethos than the people working here. LAZY LAZY LAZY...... LAZY! Glad you're not my go to branch. Needless to say I won't be returning!

The lady who took my documents was absolutely incompetent, taking 10m to take a picture of my passport, apparently they don't even have a printer. Despite providing two proof of address with my name she said it was not good enough because it had the initials instead of the full name. I am cancelling my credit card application I don't want to waste my time with this type of bank. Rest assured I am filing an official complaint.

The only good thing about that branch was a member of staff called Dean. Now his gone it's terrible. Go to one of the others near by as the rest of the staff are clueless.
