Not cheap but the food is ok

Has changed hands a couple of times in last few years. Some excellent additions to range (eg sourdough) but some changes poor, while the prices have increased so much a dedicated patisserie like creme de la creme now looks like a budget option! (Despite doing the high end stuff much better). Biggest problem is the queuing which is chaotic when busy: there are multiple tills and some people treating them as separate queues, others as one big queue, arguments and tutting about who was first which is unsurprising as they genuinely don't know who was first! It usually devolves bad temperdly into several separate ones at which point the person in front of you orders some eleborate takeaway while the other till moves fast :( Signs everywhere saying be polite to staff: there is no excuse for rudeness to staff but a few signs making clear where to queue and setting up one big queue would be more effective as the current system is chaos. I now only go here under duress which is a shame as some things are good. Now if only they put ginger in the gingerbread men...

They charge £2 for tasteless latkes! What's wrong with charging 75p for a latke? They charge £3 for chocolate ball covered with either coconut or sprinkles etc. £3!!! What wing charging a normal price of £1.50? They charge for a measley sandwich £5! What's wrong with a normal price of £3.50?
