The food was good, but the space felt cramped and a bit loud. Our server was friendly and attentive, though the staff seemed quite busy once the restaurant filled up. The food was decent but already on the pricey side. They charged a 13.5% service fee, and at checkout, I was offered a QR code with an additional £1.99 charge. I didn?t think that was right, so they brought the regular card machine, and I paid the standard amount. Overall, it was okay, but nothing exceptional.

On arriving, our table wasn?t ready so we ordered a drink at the lovely bar.. just ordered and then the table ?was? apparently ready. We were taken downstairs to a tiny table with a view to the side of the kitchen and to the back door - not the best view. Waiter came over, (who was really nice and friendly), and as we were waiting for starters, a mouse ran along the side of the wall, from the side of the kitchen and under our table. I have to say - it curbed my appetite somewhat! We received our food, which was really nice, but I felt a bit off food after the mouse incident. We told the waiter and another waiter came over, said they knew about the mice and had someone coming out later and offered to move us upstairs. I wasn?t fussed about moving now I?d seen it, but I have to say I won?t be back. They gave us our dessert free of charge but in honestly I?m not sure they should be operating given there are mice running around the kitchen and dining area?
