We went for a highly anticipated lunch today, particularly looking forward to steak. Unfortunately, there were no daily cuts available which was very disappointing. Everything after that was underwhelming.
We will definitely be back but only to try the steak. Great service and atmosphere though, just what Chingford high street needs.

Incredible restaurant. From the moment we arrived, the atmosphere struck the perfect balance between relaxed and vibrant ? ideal for enjoying a great meal without feeling rushed.
The food was simply outstanding. Every course, from the starters right through to dessert, was bursting with flavour and beautifully presented. Not a single dish disappointed ? you can really tell the care and quality that goes into the cooking and baking here.
The drinks were equally impressive, with a fantastic selection and some truly delicious options to complement the meal.
It?s safe to say this place will become a regular spot for us. Already counting down the days until we return. Highly recommend!

Beautiful space with a warm, welcoming atmosphere. The food was on point ? well-executed and full of flavour. Standout was the Gina chocolate cake with ice cream ? rich, indulgent, and an easy 10/10. Will definitely be back.

Lovely meal, very impressive for their first day with paying customers.
Team were very friendly and especially helpful for my dietary nonsense.
Best burger in town, the best lamb chops I?ve had in a while, and the cocktails would rival a lot of bars in Soho.
Looking forward to trying the Sunday menu!

For a first night you couldn?t tell! The food was on point and I loved how every detail was thought about down to the little spoon on the espresso cup.
Every dish we had was seasoned to perfection. Really interesting dishes I?ve not come across in restaurants and I eat out a lot. The tomato vol au vant was just out of this world good! You can tell the pastry is made in house.
The burger was so good! Thick pickles! And we had all of the desserts which to me was a joy. It?s a relief to know you?re going to get excellent desserts at the end of an incredible meal!
Thanks for such a great night and we will be back for sure!

A fantastic meal in what I hope becomes a local staple. Shout out to our server Will who was brilliant - it did not seem like opening night with how smooth & chatty he was, well done to him & the wider team, they delivered a fantastic service and meal.
Firstly the ambience is wonderful - great design with an open feel, lovely decor & friendly front of house (with superb jackets!). Really welcoming and warm to walk into and spend the evening!
The menu is concise & delivers great options. The specials looked fantastic on other tables and one had sold out by 6:30 when we entered, but the core menu is more than enough on its own.
The drinks menu offers a really good wine selection (the Picpoul was great) and I love the effort put into the house non alcoholic options - both were delicious and delivered at their price point.
The house made bread & salami as a snack were very good - the bread felt like a loaf straight out of *insert any boujee London bakery here* and the salami was of good quality. Recommend both.
To start we had the mozzarella with marinated peppers as well as the beetroot and pistachio. Great, light, seasonal dishes which were wonderfully balanced and seasoned - the beetroot was our favourite with that crispy garlic on top. Save some bread for the dressings!
We shared the Dover sole, spit roast chicken, and tomato vol au vont which were all fantastic in their own right, but a shout out has to go to the house made puff pastry on the tomato vol au vont - this was a standout dish of the night and we could?ve quite happily ordered another. The fish & chicken were clearly high quality and cooked to display that - great seasoning and cooking, highly recommended.
The dessert range was small but, like everything at Gina it seems, thoughtfully designed & executed. The Italian peaches with mascarpone are a fantastic summer dessert and I?d happily return for them alone - but you?ve gone wrong if you don?t order the chocolate cake. Devine.
We finished with a sweet wine & espresso martini (shoutout brown butter vodka, that?s inspired) and a desire to return.
We spent £300 between 4 of us trying multiple dishes each - but there is such good value options here that you could spend £30 a head and have a fantastic night.
Cannot wait to come back, this place is so worth the visit. Well done!

Amazing food, amazing service. Lovely owner came to say hello to our table and was so friendly. Very reasonable and delicious food
