Gail?s is usually very delightful and everything is tasty. But lately, especially during lunch time when it is very busy, they do not replace the products and you can?t find anything you want. This has been happening for a while (and it wasn?t like that before). It?s probably better not to go because you won?t find what you want to eat anyway!! Very dissatisfying, sorry to say.

Competing musics doesn?t create an enjoyable atmosphere. Normally Gail?s is spot on - but today they had two musics playing at same time making atmosphere very unpleasant. Up front, typical coffee shop music and then the baker had a completely different genre with faster beat and a very different style. I brought it to the attn of the staff (2 competing musics is not pleasant) and she (yes, I think) Then, she went away to talk to the baker and nothing changed. My issue is not with the music choice - just the annoying and unpleasant atmosphere created when two sets of musics are playing at same time. I know I?m not the only one put off by this, another customer walked in, ordered, sat down, then looked at the baking area and moved several tables towards the door and away from the competing music. Sadly, after bringing it to the staff?s attn, clearly the customer?s experience is not valued. As a very frequent customer as I live in the neighbourhood, I can?t say that I?ll be back to dine in.

I love gails in general, but this one by tottenham court road is such a nice vibe. The atmosphere is really nice, not many seats but its fine. Great selection of food and the staff are friendly.

Be honest The bakery in the store is average, I won?t say it?s amazing. This is our first time a bit disappointed.
The price is high, but I think it?s normal price in London.

Baked good were typical Gail?s. Not quite as good as I remember. 6/10
Americano was overly watered down and way too hot. 3/10
Overall cleanliness was poor. In the guest bathrooms there was no toilet tissue or soap - the staff warned me of this, but what makes this worse is that this same bathroom was shared with the staff - who touch and serve food. There was no handwashing station in the serving area. ??

Whoever was staffed closing today (jun 17th) needs a raise. I?ve always been a fan of Gail?s but the staff working at 5:45pm today were something else. So friendly and helpful and really went above and beyond to make my day. I will pay more for a sweet treat any day when it comes with such good customer service.

I usually love Gail?s, but this particular branch has become a frustrating experience because of one staff member. There?s an Asian woman who is consistently rude ? not just once, but every time I?ve visited when she?s working. Her tone is often loud, almost like she?s shouting, and her body language is extremely dismissive and unwelcoming. She acts as if she can?t hear you properly, making you repeat your order multiple times, even when you?re clearly speaking.
It?s very uncomfortable and makes you feel like you?re not welcome there. I?ve seen other complaints about the same staff member, so I know I?m not alone in this experience. It?s disappointing because I genuinely enjoy Gail?s, but I won?t be coming back to this location until something changes. I really hope management takes this seriously and addresses the situation.

Juhyun, babe? I get it, you?d rather be anywhere else than serving sad breakfasts at 8am. But £20 for four miserable items (one of which looks like it was scooped from a trough), dumped onto a metal tray like we?re doing time in a Turkish prison? Girl. At least pretend we?re not intruding on your existential crisis. The silence at the till was so tense I thought we were about to take communion, not pay for overpriced slop.

Very pleased with this particular spot.
Although it?s a growing chain that might put people off the quality of food and drink has stayed relatively good throughout the years.
This one is nice and located on a quieter spot of central London which is convenient. Service was good a you don?t have to queue for long.
The abundance of pastries out is nice I hope that they?d release more limited edition and experimental things. The yoghurt pots and selection of drinks here is great.
Would stop by here again when in town.

I can get better quality pastry or sandwiches at the Pret next door , with better staff and quick service all of this at half price comparing to what I paid here...bonkers
