The pastrami Racheal was amazing really enjoyed it, same with the raspberry ice tea. What wasn't amazing was the chap with blonde hair barging passed customers muttering under his breath while they are trying to order, yes it's probably annoying that you have get orders to tables outside and customers are at the counter but it's not their fault they are in the way.

I used to be a big fan of Gail's but recently prices increased a lot, no more hot food and they run out of basic things like Decaf coffee, syrup and othe ingredients for even iced coffee... it's a pity.

Absolutely horrible experience - charging overt the top for coffee just because its Gail's.
It was a busy morning so took a table just emptied but staff never bothered picking up dirty cups and plates from previous customers for about an hour and half I was there. No greetings from staff at all, they'd just come and leave the drinks without saying hi/hello nothing and not even confirming the order. Next time I'd go to another local spot instead.

Lovely place to grab a bite and coffee.. staff were friendly and the food was great.. nice outdoor seating area albeit limited.. their basement bakery looked cool with fresh baked goods!

Terrible service. Rude, stroppy, sarcastic, told customers to clear dirty cups and plates off tables from previous occupants themselves. Needs new management. Avoid.

A small space with a lot to offer their coffee is not something I would get again. The cafe is more spacious than seems at first and service is quick. It is a convenient location.

Lovely spot in Blackheath! I had the avocado toast and a flat white, both were delicious. The smell of fresh coffee and baked goods is amazing, and everything looks beautifully presented. A great place to start the day! The only down side for me is not dogs allowed:( but I do understand that not every one likes them.

Lovely looking cafe, however, both service and coffee + pistachio financiers were not that good. Coffee didn?t taste right and the cake was not fresh - it was hard to chew and tasted off. Quite disappointed as I had a work meeting nearby and wanted to visit again.

VERY busy!! Queue to the pavement outside. The coffee and croissants were delicious, but a second cup meant rejoining the pavement crew? for the price, table service would be good. Lots of other delicious places in Blackheath with better service!
