Still has one of the best croissants I?ve had in London! Perfectly golden and crisp on the outside, soft and buttery inside ? every bite was heaven. The coffee was spot-on too, and the friendly team made the whole experience even better. A true neighbourhood treasure!

Great wifi and pastries. But you guys have to put a mini ramp at the doorway for strollers. I'm drinking a coffee outside and watch about 10 moms struggle to open the door and lift their stroller in the past 20 minutes.

Very delicious bakery. Earl gray def worth the price and cappuccino too. We liked Babka, but cinnamon bun had too much sugar. There were like 5-7 people working with laptops, was weird

3.5/5. This is my local Gail's - it's small compared to some of their other branches and seems to have fairly high staff turnover. Drinks and food are good. The seating area at the back is showing lots of wear and tear and needs a bit of a touch-up, and tables are often not cleared very fast with lots of stacked up trays and dishes.

We always come here for coffee and a pastry when staying nearby. However we won?t return. The Americanos we were served yesterday were lukewarm and cups only 3/4 full.

Gail?s is probably the best bakery out of the big chains. Belsize park is a nice location, there is a good amount of seating inside although somewhat crowded so it can get pretty loud. Service is always excellent and staff are friendly.

Went into the Belsize park location service was terrible. A customer ordered then went wondering off somewhere so I asked if I could pay for bread. The till person seemed put out and annoyed that I had asked for this. There was no ?yeah no problem let me just finish this and I?ll be right with you? passive aggressive attitude. Went over to other staff, made jjokes, came back didn?t even say thanks you.
Now I used to work in retail so I know it just takes acknowledgment to keep customers easeful. I spend a lot of money in Gail?s - not going back!

Unsure if the recipe has changed or if it's just this shop, but the hot chocolate from this Gail's is absolutely terrible
