David is very professional and kind. He offered a lot of flexibility around my schedule with early morning and late evening availability. He sorted my letterbox lock easily and managed to avoid changing the lock and keys in the end. I?m very pleased with his service and would recommend Fortress Lock & Safe to anyone.

Couldn?t recommend more! They came as soon as they could and not only removed the broken key from the lock very quickly (and checked the lock confirming that it didn?t need changing) but also fixed our front door lock which had been a bit temperamental free of charge. I didn?t even mention the front door lock but they must?ve realised as they were getting some tools from the van. They really went above and beyond - would recommend to all

My customer has an old original lock to which they had no keys. It couldn't be easily replaced due to the type and size of lock so I suggested taking it to Fortress to see if they could make keys for it. Fortress were able to make keys to suit this particular lock and also rectified the operation which was stiff after decades of no use. An excellent service and happy customer.

These guys are AMAZING. I walked into Fortress Lock & Safe Co this morning after being referred by two key cutters who couldn't help me. I had bought a lock box for spare keys and it was faulty so my keys were stuck inside. Within 5 minutes, as if by magic, David had solved the problem. Honestly, watching him work was the most impressive thing I have seen this year. Absolutely brilliant. Let's support these guys because they are doing amazing work. Thanks again!

I've used them for years and they're the best! If they can't deal with your lock or key problem (car keys with chips in them) they know someone who can.

Got three copies of a residential fob key which didn?t work so had to go back and return. Contrary to my initial visit where I was greeted and served politely, this time I was unlucky to be served by another man who leaves a lot to be desired in terms of common courtesy and willingness to help.

Today we had an issue with an Asser Ruko front door lock. We were referred to Fortress Lock & Safe by Callow Locksmiths of East Dulwich as Fortress were the agents for the Asser locking systems.On getting to Brixton, the member of staff was so unfriendly I was made to feel as if I was a hindrance, not a potential customer, and I did not feel happy with him potentially coming to my home. I was also told nothing could be sorted on the same day as the member of staff who dealt with Ruko locks might or might not show up!I went back to Callow, who were the opposite, friendly, professional, and within a couple of hours were at my home and have now fixed the problem.As vice chair of the local residents association with 380 household members , I know who I will be recommending in the future, and who I will not!* UPDATE * Whilst on holiday I contacted David, and provided him with the additional information he requested.He then came back to me to say he had spoken with the person concerned who had suffered a bereavement the night before, and should not have been at work. He then mentioned he had sent the person home on the morning of my visit .... but then surely he should have known who the person concerned was without me then having to tell him as he was the only one there when I arrived?

Fortress is brilliant - very experienced. Been going to them for all sorts of reasons for the past 8/9 years for services ranging from key rings to major lock work. Latest example is I stupidly allowed my mortice key on the front door to wear away, so much so that one morning I was locked out. I took the key down there and they cut me two different potential options and one of them did the trick.Another time, our back door lock broke which had a very old, unorthodox gear system which weren't used or installed any more. They had one spare in their workshop and the whole door was fixed by mid morning the following day for a reasonable price.Proper experts.
