We had a lovely lunch in Fishworks Covent Garden.
The frito misto and grilled fish platter were both lovely. Good portions of super tasty fresh fish.
The lemon tart with strawberry ice cream dessert was a lovely way to finish the meal.
The staff are friendly and helpful, the young lady from Puglia who looked after us was great.
If you like fresh fish you will love Fishworks, we had a really great lunch here and highly recommend.

Fishworks is wonderful. If you are ever in the area stop in and eat. We had tickets to the Duchess Theatre and needed to eat something but only had 45 minutes. The restaurant was busy, we explained our situation, they squeezed us in and got us out in plenty of time for our play. All while not compromising the quality of food or service! Definitely would go again when back in London.

Very nice seafood place! Well decorated on the inside with open spaces, very clean, did not feel crowded. The music was just at the right level, perfect for a nice conversation. I had the oysters, and they were delicious. Then we tried their fish and chips and it was just perfect, light and not too heavy.
Shoutout to Maisie who was very welcoming and kind offering us help with our choices and always had a smile on. Of course we had to end things with a fresh lemon pie and well? totally worth it.

The quality has gone down?
I was here for my birthday meal but was disappointed form the moment we walked in, it was before the busy peak time but we were stood there at the door without any greeting from the staff waiting for a long time to be served. Whole service was less attentive.
The air con not working made the whole experience worse as well?.it was so hot it was uncomfortable and couldn?t enjoy the meal in a 30 degree weather.
The food. The stew was my favourite thing but the flavour wasn?t there and it was super watery then what I remember. The depth of flavour wasn?t there?
Even the side dishes wasn?t up to the standard like the last time. The broccolini and new potato wasn?t as good as last time.
Maybe this particular branch is bad compared to the other ones we went to?

We booked the FishWorks as a celebration after my daughters degree show. It wasn?t that busy while we were there - we generally prefer to eat early. The waitress was great and very helpful - we have brought flowers which she kindly put in water while we ate. We ordered a tasting platter for two. She offered, and brought, the cold platter first, followed by the other two. The quality of all of it was excellent. The calamari was very good and tender. And it was great to compare the different fish. We had a bowl brought for shells, the equipment for lobster and finger bowls to help clean our hands. To be honest, I enjoyed it so much I was saying to my husband later that we should go. The vibe was relaxed but the food such great quality that we would have a great evening.

AMAZING food and great service. both the halibut and the cod fish and chips were delicious, as well as the scallops appetizer and oysters. everything was absolutely perfect and our waiter was so kind !

A lovely meal, unfussy, well cooked, tasty food support by good unobtrusive service.
Would highly recommend for a nice meal in Convent Garden. Tuna was amazing.
