I heard many great things about this Uyghur Restaurant. I was delighted to find this halal restaurant in Walthamstow.
I ordered the lamb Polo and was expecting a decent sized meal considering the price was £14.99. However I was extremely disappointed. The size of the meal was ridiculously small. I was given a miniscule amount of small pieces of lamb which were chewy and tough. The rice was cooked well with plenty of flavour and seasoning but again the portion size was tiny. For £14.99 I expected to be satisfied with a large meal but I ended up going home hungry and paying for another meal.
I think that you only get big portions if you buy the platter which costs more.

I want to carefully word my review as I do not want to cause any offence! Firstly I want to say the service was great and many thanks to the chef as he was able to customize the dish the way I wanted! Price was good for the area. Also the decor is beautiful and a lovely showcase of the culture and history of the Ugyhur community.
However overall we were not big fans of the food. We felt the hand pulled noodles used too much sichuan pepper and I could not enjoy any other flavours in the dish. The kung po chicken and the lamb samosa was okay. The honey cake for dessert was nice but also noted it was not made fresh. Given this is the first time we tried this cuisine, it is unclear whether this is how the general flavour profile is or our experience is specific to this dining establishment.

One of my favorite restaurant in London that every trip I make. Shish kebab , Samsa and Polo is our favorite. Staff members are very friendly and kind.

Absolutely delicious. Hand pulled noodles are amazing and the service is top notch.
The only issue was that they did not have some of the drinks listed on the menu, but that still doesn't affect my review.
The lamb dumplings were the best I've ever tried.
I'd recommend booking in advance as it gets quite busy for dinner time.

SO good! Maybe my favourite place to go for dinner in Walthamstow. I recommend the lamb dumplings and the traditional leghmen in particular, or the big plate chicken if there are three or more of you (we did once manage the big plate chicken between two but it was a mistake).

This Uyghur restaurant has been around for a long time now. Their lagman noodles are delicious. Try the beef tongue, it?s really tender and flavourful.

Tasty Chinese restaurant in Walthamstow. I have eaten both takeaway and at the restaurant and the food is very good.

I want everybody to go and eat at Etles. I went there with friends for a birthday celebration and every single one of us loved the food. The leghmen (hand pooled noodles) are so delicious! I did not know I could get excited by noodles. The shredded beef was very tasty. Even the salad was punchy. Others liked the stir fried potatoes, but that was the one thing I did not get excited about. Oh, and it is BYOB, so your bill will be very affordable. And the service is good as well! I will definitely be back.
