I came here just for body waxing. The shop has zero ventilation, reeks of fumes and was boiling hot without even a fan on. I waited about 10 min and was taken downstairs for my wax to this fluorescent-lit basement room. The floors were filthy and it reeked of damp with moths on the walls. I had booked underarms, Brazilian and full legs which was listed online as ?hot wax? vs the cheaper ?strip wax? option, which I was told when I called was ?hard wax?. When my wax starts, the technician tells me hard wax is not possible for legs. The wax was painfully hot the entire time and when I repeatedly protested the technician told me it cannot get any cooler (???) and teased that I was overly sensitive. The waxing was rushed and painful, with the strips being pulled away from the body (vs ?zipped? parallel) and the tech not even holding the skin taut. There wasn?t even a towel to cover my body or a mirror to check the work. £71 and 45 minutes later, the finished wax wasn?t even remotely thorough, just patchy and painful. Never again.
