“I went in to get some paint as I was decorating my son’s room and Reggie assisted me from start to finish and getting all the items that I need as I did not have a clue. Reggie was so patient and kind assistance me for over 40 minutes. During our interaction, I learned so much and he was extremely knowledgeable with all the products. He’s an absolute asset and Leyland should feel very fortunate to have him working with them. I will definitely come return to the store as I also found all the staff very pleasant too.”

“I’ve been using Leyland for quite a while now, never thought of living a review and hope this might help. I’m shopping at Leyland in Finchley Road, London a few times a week for different stuff that I need to get the jobs done like for the past 3 years that’s the only leyland I've stepped in. Recently noticed one of your employee, don’t really know her name but I believe it’s Artira as that’s the name on my last receipt she gave me, she’s always smiley and helpful and when she sees ques are getting big she just jumps on the till to serve the costumers like she did today, very helpful as I was in a bit of a rush. 5 stars to the shop and 5 stars to her, Leyland give her a raise or a promotion.”

“A few weeks ago I went to Leyland’s with a stuck screw, and three employees (JP, Reece, and one other) took over an hour of their day to help me figure out my issue. They were extremely committed, diligent, and friendly during the entire process (when I would have given up on my own) and eventually were able to help me get the screw loose. They really saved me as the part has been discontinued and I would have otherwise needed to order a new oven. I really appreciated their help and would recommend this store due to their helpful and friendly staff!”

“I have recently done a few painting jobs at home and I decided to shop local/independent rather than go to B&Q.The team at Decorators Mate are really friendly and extremely knowledgeable. They went above any beyond to help me, spending a great deal of time answering my many questions about how to best go about my bathroom project, including how best to paint fresh plaster in a humid room.They are very well stocked and carry all of the major painting/decorating brands, including Little Greene which is my new go-to paint brand (they also have beautiful wallpaper designs).Today I went to have a colour match to an existing wall paint and the match was dead on. I was even given some tips on how to blend new paint into existing wall paint to avoid a total wall repaint.They also have other DIY materials and if they don’t stock it, they told me they can order in anything that I need.These guys are my now go-to for anything DIY I would have otherwise bought from B&Q or Robert Dyas.”
