Very impressed with DFS furniture store Sidcup.( Tuesday 4/4/23 afternoon). We (my wife and I) will certainly return with the intent to view and eventually purchase in the near future. DFS Sidcup is a very clean, hygenic, spacious, modern, airy, well lit store embracing a relaxed atmosphere as you enter and browse around its very organised layout of furniture - displayed before you across a large ground floor space. The entrance...a large glass door and suitable disabled entrance, and also has a convenience inside for the disabled. The flooring is safely smooth with wide walkway avenues to view the furniture. Here, an excellent range and choice of indoor furniture of many various ranges and chic modern styles stand before you. You may also find a well marked - tagged bargain here showing a price reduction, an observation we noticed during our visit. The furniture caters mostly for living room/ lounge accommodation with ample choice of many different makes and colour ranges to suit pairing with additionally luxurious materials to choose from. But very significantly, the staff very polite and helpful. A very special mention to Helen who was so friendly, polite, professional, and caring with an aim to please with your needs. Helen was very knowledgeable in helping ? us with our selection to choose and answered any questions put to her...well done and thanks SO very much Helen, you are a true representative and major member of staff to DFS. The company should be very proud of you of any sales made on your behalf given with your expertise and warm charming friendly guidance and personality! Best regards and we will return with a purchase... or two ...after our first visit of viewing this delightful furniture store in Sidcup. Access to the site via A20 slip road for Ruxley Foots Cray turn off. A safe large tidy car park (with disabled parking spaces conveniently close to the store entrance) awaits you on your visit. STAY CLEAR from this store and company! Terrible customer service, no regard for customer care and zero communication between them and warehouses /suppliers. Better off going to the suppliers such as Dwell or other brands. Not only is it expensive but you think you?re getting a quality product for a big price when thats not the case. Other alternatives are far better. My order was messed up without even me being contacted and I would have been left without furniture if I did not contact DFS for an update almost a week after it was due. Trust me when I say stick to IKEA or sofology. Terrible.

Avoid at all costs if I could give 0 stars I would! Ordered 4k worth of sofa?s in august which were delivered faulty in November I contacted DFS straight away they sent someone out to look who immediately agreed the sofa looked about a year old the leather was really saggy and the sofa was creaking he said the bottom half of the sofa needed to be replaced I then noticed the 3 seater was not lining up when not reclined and there was a huge gap between the seats and it also started creaking I once again called DFS they stated someone would be in touch no one ever called me so I chased this up by this time my 2 seater was now also sagging at the back and looked about 5 years old I told DFS I wanted a refund and they needed to collect the sofa?s! The store then rang offering me 10% back if I kept them which I refused they then offered me to choose new ones I went into store and chose a sofa by the following day I decided I didn?t want to proceed and cancelled the order as I was worried the same thing would happen again snd didn?t want the stress I then went into store for a refund and was told this could take up to 28 days which I pointed out was illegal and by law they have a maximum of 14 days.. my sofas have been collected and no refund has been processed so I now have no sofas and am 4k out of pocket if I don?t get my refund by Saturday I will be reporting you to trading standards and I?ll also be going into store to speak to the manager I?ll also be telling every potential customer that I encounter whilst I?m there what you have done and showing pictures of my faulty sofa?s! Totally unacceptable it takes minutes if that to issue a refund you are deliberately withholding my money for absolutely no reason! Disgusting company you were quick enough to take my money but are in no rush to give it back! the stress and upset this has and continues to cause me is unbelievable!

Without a doubt Anh is categorically the BEST sales assistant i have ever come across. Absolutley flawless service from start to finish. Would have no hesitation in recommending him to anyone. Absolutley love our new sofa! Wish all sales people could be like him! Thankyou again!

Awful company!We?ve had 2 sofas from DFS in the past 6 years or so. Both were electric recliners and both have broken in the second year of owning. With the latest one we had to wait 3 weeks for an assessor to come and look at it, then we were told the motor had gone and it would take 12 weeks to get a replacement (which I thought was a ridiculously long time to wait). At the end of the 12 weeks I called to ask what was going on (no one from DFS keeps you updated) to find they?ve moved the goalposts and it?s now a 4 month wait. I will advise everyone I know to go to SCS or another sofa place as these are rubbish

Worst experience ever 5 missed deliverys 19 week wait for a 5 week order item delivered to wrong address the billing address? Rubbish customer care and now I have to pay for a delivery person myself for my item and it's damaged allready filthy matress and parts missing ? Don't buy a bed or sofa from these messers you all been warned comedy dfs show isn't funny esp when the bed was bought for a sick person who you made wait and not even a phone call email or explanation ! Never again !Worst experience buying somthing !

Great place to look for furniture. We were seen and assisted by a lovely lady called Helen, she helped us with measurements, which sofa would fit through the door and down our hallway. If it wasn't for all her support and knowledge we wouldn't of ordered our sofa. Thank you

Absoloutely shocking experience. Sofa is already 8 weeks later than said. 3 different delivery dates cancelled. One of them just a no show. All of them either lying or totally incompetent. Avoid at all costs.

Absolutely unscrupulous. Sold us a sofa and footstool, got the order wrong. Corrected the order but the sofa has weirdly deformed cushions that are at least 3.5 inches too small. You could park a car in the gap. They won?t do anything, saying they will settle as we crush them down. They?re not all foam, so they shouldn?t crush down, but if they do crush down far enough to cover this gap then that?s a fault too.Also said if we accepted an order we could subsequently return the footstool. That was a lie and they won?t take it back.Subpar quality goods with a 1970?s usa car salesman attitude. Avoid this place so you can avoid a drawn out fight exercising your right to return.I?ll now have to pay an independent upholsterer (shocker the one that came out was on their payroll) to contest this is acceptable or normal, and there?s no doubt they will.Absolutely awful business - the irony is I told them I hoped they stood behind their products as many furniture shops are so unscrupulous. The answer at the time was ?we?ve been around ages and we stand by our products?Couldn?t be less true.

We went in looking for a new sofa all the staff were sitting around on a sofa chatting. No customer service at all after 20 minutes of wandering around the store someone I have no idea who as they never introduced themselves came over and just said if you need help im sitting over there and pointed to sofa all the staff were sitting on. It actually made you feel like you were intruding so we left the store and ended up buying our sofa and other furniture we wanted from oak furnitureland better customer service. Would not recommend dfs Sidcup.

If you go there ask for Joseph, went there a few times with my family to decide over furnishing a property local, we went back n forth! All visits were bewildering .Certainly go there for furniture's And ask for Joseph, he will make your experience worthwhile.
