After a busy morning searching for a spot for breakfast, we stumbled upon Crêpeaffaire Islington and what a delightful surprise it turned out to be. The atmosphere is warm and welcoming, perfect for a laid-back meal. I was particularly impressed by their charming teapots, which add a lovely touch to the experience.
We ordered the Pesto Mozzarella with Chicken and the Eggs Benedict crêpes, both of which were satisfying and flavourful. The menu offers an inventive twist on breakfast classics, and everything was freshly made.
If there?s one thing to note, it?s that the crêpes were served directly on paper, and at one point some of the paper stuck to my food, something I hope they improve on for next time. Other than that, the experience was thoroughly enjoyable.
Definitely a place I?d be happy to return to, ideally with the paper staying on the plate and not joining the meal!

Had a lovely experience at this nice cafe, the lady serving us was so kind and helpful! She explained the menu and confirmed that the chicken is halal, and you can create your own crepe. We ordered savoury crepes which were very nice, we didn't want a heavy meal. Portions were quite big too. And the toilet was clean too. And it's a lovely casual place to sit in especially on a sunny day, lots of seating. Thank you!

Nice crepe toppings but I would suggest they cook the crepes on both sides as it was too gooey and raw for me.

The food was okay, one of our crepes were burnt and portions were pretty small. I'm not sure if my strawberries were supposed to be slightly fermented but they had a slight grey colour and were soft... When we ordered more off the menu, our previous plates, which were stacked up nicely for them to remove, weren't removed off the table.
The table was incredibly sticky and unpleasant to touch. We were given dirty cutlery twice. Atmosphere and decor was nice.

Very slow service, waited 10 minutes for a takeaway matcha. The matcha was good but small portion for 4,75£.
