Staff don't know the products they sell. Neither of the staff knew how to inflate or deflate a camping mat I took back which was faulty. One was a supervisor who said she had only been there 2 months hadn't had camping training yet :/ At least the other member of staff admitted not knowing and asked me to show him whereas the supervisor tried to deflate the mat with the valve still closed risking damage.Cotswold have a 2 year warranty but it turns out won't replace in store even if you can clearly demonstrate the fault. After taking it to store as requested I was then told despite the fault being obvious it will be sent to head office and then on to thermarest and then back the same way and they couldn't guarantee how long it would take! So I'm sending it directly to thermarest myself and wish I hadn't wasted my time with Cotswold.

Stock is shockingly limited. Don?t expect to be able to pop in and try on items advertised on their website. I visited and there were about four pairs of trousers.

Staff super friendly and helpful.Good selection of clothes considering is not a massive shop. Definitely reccomended if you are in the area.

Great shop. Bought some boots from them and after a few hikes found they didn't fit quite right. Boots were great, I think I just have quite narrow feet. They gave me a full refund of store credit, even though I'd worn the boots a bunch of times. Really kind.

The best outdoor apparel shop in London. They have fantastic product selection with very competitive prices. But what really keeps me coming back is the fantastic service you receive. The team there is very friendly and knowledgeable about all things outdoors.

Racial profiling at its best!Walked into the Islington store, ignored by staff (who seem to reside behind the cash desk) then eventually approached by reluctant staff member with the most incredible nonchalant and ?can?t be bothered? attitude ? I asked if he could help me find suitable hiking boots and he asked me if I intend to do ?proper? hiking ? just embarrassing ? offered no help, support or advice. If this business wants to stay relevant and profitable, change your attitudes and change your staff!

Always had pleasant experience in this Cotswold Outdoor store. Been a frequent customer since Aart helped me choose the walking shoes, letting me try numerous pairs. Very friendly staff member and always up for a chat. Store stock is decent for the size but would be nice to see Fjallraven products in there. No complaints whatsoever! ?
