Jo and the team at Coton & Hamblin are amazing. The care and service they provide is second to none. I have been going to their Woolwich branch for several years now and it's like visiting friends, everyone is so helpful and kind. I have been to various optometrists in my life and never have I felt my eyes are being cared for so well. Thank you all for being amazing!

The worse optician in South East London. This branch is not a franchise, so is managed by the same owner joana as the one in Blackheath Standard in Charlton. If you have money to buy all the additional services, perfect! If not, they will treat you in a humiliant way, mainly a woman with glasses that work there and the owner/manager.The NHS spectacles for children are very limites, so they can persuade you to buy enpensive ones.They just see money in front of them and tried to force me and persuade me to pay for extra services I didn't need and didn't want to do. I''m entitled to NHS free eye test, however I used to pay for a extra services to pushed me to pay. However, when I told them I didn't want to pay for contact lenses test every year as I do a NHS test anually, they started treat me with badly and using rude manners.The manager and owner Mrs joana decided to write me an email where she clearly states her greediness, saying "we are not provide you eyecare as refusing to pay for aditional clinic services"! She has the courage to email me to harass me.Glad to have found and been seen by an excellent optometrist in Erith.

AVOID. Worst customer service and optometrist in Woolwich. They try to upsell their products and if we don't buy it they treat us as rubbish. The manager joane is worse and use to email people with rude speech as her staff in this shop.Better opticians around.

Really pleased! Danielle was super helpful and knowledgeable. She took her time to explain and checked everything for me. I definitely recommend this place and I will come back for my glasses!

I bring my mom to Coton & Hamblin for an eye check, the optometrist is the best!Jo (the optometrist ) is kind, pleasant, knowledgeable and very professional. I bring mom to visit top tier optometrist/ ophthalmologist in Hong Kong, and having heard of many comments from professionals. Among them, Jo provides the best treatment to my mom.I popped into Coton & Hamblin based on good reviews here and I found this is a wonderful place, excellent optometrist takes good care of your eyes and other persons in the shop are lovely and friendly.
