Really sad to write this review as I?ve been a loyal COOK customer for years and even recommended it to friends but seems to just be one bad experience after another now. I contacted cook to talk and ask about the added salt and sugar and sometimes syrups in their kids range of meals and was given such round about cope out answers without any real concern given to my request.. most all children?s tray meals have NO added salt sugar or syrup and everyone knows that. On top of that I go to the store and purchase meals almost three times a week. My child is in nursery across the street and I take maximum 5 min to run across the street to collect her and leave my car in the cook parking spot which most of the staff have always been so nice about since I am super quick in the shop and super quick with the pick up however today the man was so insistent that I am not allowed to leave my car because of course I always ask first. He insisted I move out of their spot even though I?d just bought dinner for my family there. And there was another spot completely free. I just don?t understand why he was so rude and non accommodating. I have a 1 year old baby I?m picking up and it takes only 5 minutes and he knows that as I?ve done it before. The build up of these event has put me so off of COOK and has made me never want to return or buy from them again. Customer service means something and I?ve been such a loyal customer that this incredibly poor customer relations is just awful. I won?t be returning any more. I would rather pay for 5min parking on the street than be treated like that.

The staff here are completely charmless and sullen, monosyllabic and borderline rude, and they don?t accept cash ? we won?t be returning ?

Off the beaten track this store is worth going out of your way for.Cook do high quality frozen meals, in varying sizes and as mains, sides and desserts. Not all the meals are great, but there?s so much variety almost everyone can find something to enjoy. Each week there?s 20% off on one of their mains in all sizes. The staff there are lively and knowledgeable about the products and are usually happy to help with suggestions and help. The store has a ramp up but no automatic door and owing to the layout isn?t very accessible for wheelchair users and definitely not for mobility scooters. The store is dog friendly. There?s a free parking space in front and pay and display parking in the adjacent street.Cook also do online ordering for either click and collect or home delivery.

Overpriced, soggy sandwiches (and I mean really soggy disintegrating slop) and grumpy staff who looked aggrieved to be interrupting their conversation even to take my money. AndI heard other tables complaining, too. Next time - stuff you, English Heritage - I'm bringing a picnic.

This cafe is in a nice setting in the grounds of Chiswick House. The service was fine. But the food was poor. I had flatbread with tahini and humus, a salad and falafel. There were just three rather over-cooked falafels without much taste. A thin coating of tahini and humus was on the flatbread. The flatbread was rubbery and extremely hard to cut or break. Breaking it meant getting your hands messy. Cutting it with a knife and fork was tortuous and very tricky in the cardboard box it was served in. . I picked it up within 60 seconds of the alert device going off. It was luke-warm, as were the fries, as was the pot of tea I bought. After eating the flatbread it felt like a lead weight in my stomach. I think I paid about £17 in total and it was not money well spent.
