Good store, plenty of things that?s handy from alcohol to food and everyday essentials, just a heads up that the self service checkouts are card only. But there is always someone on the regular tills though.

Raham, the store manager, was very helpful, friendly and ready to go the extra mile for a quality service. I was well impressed and grateful.

Recommend double checking use by dates when buying from here! Twice now I have gone to pay for items which are out of date - most recently Fridge Raiders (chicken) which were 10 days out of date!!!
Coop?s website is very much designed to put you off submitting a complaint as it?s a lengthy process and mandatory fields include codes from your receipt (I didn?t get a receipt for these items as I didn?t buy them)?
Imagine the health risk of eating meat nearly 2 weeks out of date - very worrying.

We work in the area and always come after work to take advantage of the reduced price section. There is a really lovely staff member - I think I saw her name is Barbara - who we always look forward to seeing. Thank you for your kindness and sense of humour so late in the evening! Makes the end of a long shift feel better

Completely and unfortunately terrible service from mike and susans terrible treated by these staff members they shouldn?t be in the hospitality at all and Mike shouldn?t be a manager in my opinion

On 02/02/2025 at around 4am I went in to this store to get milk that had date of 20/01/2025 way out of date I got a refund but how often do they check the fridge every two weeks bye the look of it !!!

Security guard followed my partner and her brother round the store seemingly based on colour alone. Both dressed cleanly and well and only buying a single drink and chocolate bar each. Ironic considering my partner works for co op herself. I also work at a shop and have seen enough examples of this to know what I?m talking about. The guard was acting on racial prejudice plain and simple which is actually mildly comical given that he?s working in the most diverse city in the uk. This incident happened minutes before posting should co op wish to do due diligence and discipline the guard. The excuse of ?he is just doing his job? does not stand in this case when you are following the only two people of colour in the store around based on absolutely nothing else.
