Avoid them, spoke to Aimee originally for a measurment 2 weeks ahead, it got cancelled on the day becuase someone was sick, asked to follow up with multiple people and got no response. Eventually got through then scheduled another measur,ent 3 weeks later and no one turned up. Each time had to phone up to speak and explain the situation. The whole staff on site are completely useless. Avoid using them for anything they are incompetent and rude

Unfortunately it seems to be the case that the service here is very dependent on who is on duty when you go in. Unfortunately I travelled quite a distance across town on a Saturday to try to solve a particular issue I was having with our bathroom shower unit, just trying to creatively tide us over until the end of the weekend, but the guy I was served by was extremely rude, more concerned with getting the shutters down on the windows 10 minutes before closing time than helping customers, with no time at all to try to think outside the box at all. Left very disappointed. Will not be back.

Very disappointing service from City Plumbing Mitcham.
I phoned ahead to check availability of a specific boiler part and was explicitly told it was in stock. Based on that confirmation, I drove 35 minutes to the branch, only to be told on arrival that the part was not actually available.
As a result, I was unable to repair a boiler for an elderly lady that evening, which is completely unacceptable given the circumstances. To make matters worse, when I explained the situation and asked about alternative solutions, there was no attempt to help ? no discount, no goodwill gesture, and no proactive support to resolve the issue.
Wasting time is one thing, but giving incorrect stock information and then offering zero accountability or assistance is poor customer service. I won?t be relying on this branch again for urgent or time-critical work.
I went there on the 30th January the time was 16.40. if management care about service then address the issue with this dsipondent member of staff.
City plumbing in general are great especially Kenley branch who I will continue to use.

Used this company for many years. My credit account never adds up correctly. the unpaid invoices never add up to the total shown on screen. I have repeatedly reported this via emails with no reply. My local branch have repeatedly reported it and promised a phone call back for weeks. And NOTHING! Absolute joke to a loyal customer.

They don?t do returns once you open the box and check that it doesn?t look similar to the brochure? ? Then how am I supposed to know
Don?t buy anything from here as it?s 100% confirmed that they will not return a single thing that you?re not happy with.
Imagine spending £220 on a mirror that I could of easily gotten somewhere else with a 90day return policy and for half the price. Terrible customer service.

Having had a nightmare trying to place an order for radiators from the Sutton branch, we placed an order with Jay at the Croydon branch. He was really helpful and ensured we had the right radiators for our needs. He even rang us after the radiators had been delivered to ensure the delivery driver has bought them in safely and that they were all in perfect condition. Very happy with Jay and would go direct to him for any further requirements in the future.

Poor customer service. They don't care you are buying or not and these people at the counter don't want to greet you and don't want to say sorry for waiting of length of the time. I will not go back to this place again.it happened toe twice.

I went today to this branch and guy called Chris on counter was towards me very very rood , he didn?t even care about selling to me the product I was after, and I knew for sure this branch had it, because another branch told me so
Not happy to comeback again on this branch,

Poor service. Was after a bathtub, the sales assistant was not helpful at all. Went to another branch and they said they had none in stock but were able to order it in. Management need to look into this; Croydon stores training and attitude. Try visit another branch if possible to avoid being disappointed.

I got served this guy called Jay, I explained to him what I was trying accomplish and the information and products i received from screw fix was completely wrong, I showed Jay the same pictures i showed the person in screwfix who served me now jay Identified whats the problem was straight away got me the parts, and went to draw diagram of the best way of fitting the kitchen pipe work so i could get dishwasher and washing machine connect and ran around my kitchen. Please bare in mind I am not plumber in any shape. His advices and his diagram worked like treat. So thank you Jay if you see this nice one, City Plumbing you have a real asset there.

Great merchants, just dont rely on their online stock counts, ordered an item which was showing in stock at a location, but it wasn't. The store in question was kind enough to call me and let me know, great customer service let down by a poor stock tracking and online info
