My experience with Shagufta at Chatoo Opticians Kensington was second to none from the moment I stepped through the door. I have an autoimmune condition which results in high light sensitivity so I have to wear my prescription sunglasses most days regardless of the weather. The moment I explained this to Shagufta she understood completely and with her excellent experience she pointed me to a specific brand with a unique lens which could deal with this issue for me. She chose the perfect frame to fit my face and my style and took the time to explain about the lens and the company so I could go away and do my own research on it. What I loved was the huge amount of professional expertise and understanding of my condition; I felt totally listened to and supported but with zero pressure to buy anything. Having been to many different opticians and frames shops, this total focus on understanding and meeting my needs felt like a revelation. It wasn't too long before I came back to purchase the sunglasses and they have been utterly transformative - not only do they fit my face far better than any previous frames (and therefore block light far better for me), but the lenses themselves have been a game changer for my health condition, meaning I don't get tired so quickly and have had fewer light-triggered migraines as a result. I have been so delighted by the experience and service that I have already recommended Shagufta to my whole glasses-wearing family! Excellent service! I had prescription lenses for my sunglasses. The service was attentive, with a thorough eye examination and great advice on the most appropriate lenses. I've just tested the new lenses during a recent trip to Tokyo, and the frames are comfortable, with perfect vision!

Lovely people. I went in to ask for their opinion on a pair of lenses I had made from another optician, which I wasn't happy about. They took the time to check everything for me as well as answer my questions. The optician lady, whose name I didn't catch, seemed very knowledgeable. They really didn't have to do this, but they did and I would certainly want to go back to them in the future.

Amazing service, came into the shop not knowing what I wanted and left with a perfect pair that was suitable. The glasses were made for me 10 minutes after picking the frame, I'm extremely happy with the service and would highly recommend! Top notch quality and service and amazing staff.

It has been so nice seeing lovely Shagufta today, she has been very helpful and friendly. I have known the practice for 7 years and the service has always been at its best.Sweet Justyna has always made sure things were running smoothly, being very professional but also extremely friendly. I have been also very impressed with the amazing Shanel. The practice has always had thorough opticians offering high quality eye examinations and lovely eyewear products.Overall, very pleased.

Had such a great experience today. The team are so welcoming. They offered me the latest eye tests, even checking back of my eye. Bijal, the optometrist is so knowledgeable and answered all my questions. Shagufta spent lots of time helping me choose my glasses, they?ve got a great range of sunnies also! Amazing service from the team at Chatoo Opticians Kensington. I ordered glasses on a wednesday and they were delivered to my home two days later. I want to thank Shagufta for truly going above and beyond! I am so happy with my new glasses. This is the fastest turn around on glasses i have ever had in the last 15 years! Purely discovered you by chance a couple years back and I will never want to change my opticians again ! Excellent Opticians! I had a wonderful experience changing my lenses at Chatoo! Not only is the quality of the lenses excellent but the people working there are all lovely and so helpful. They informed me about all the available options, explained in detail what they mean and then they checked everything to make sure that I'll see properly with my new lenses! I highly recommend them:)
