“their service and the quality and quantity of clothes they generously gave me blew me away genuinely ???! i had a virtual interview call and then got to go to their hq. when i tell u from the moment u walk in, service was top-notch. you see all these brunch bars and get offered a drink, and then get to go downstairs after telling them your clothing preferences, and see they’ve already set out clothes for you, and give advice on what they think looks best.i got a bag, tops, bottoms, shoes, a coat and even a necklace.. and later i didn’t even realise that they had put in a few skincare/makeup products - it’s truly amazing!!! i feel like im definitely more ready to be in the workplace with these new clothes. you can tell they have a good workplace culture, and the goal of empowering women is, of course, so great.”

“We love this place, a soft play setting that's very different to others. It's great to see the church building used so well for a soft play, cafe and post office (and other things during the week) and also serves the local community in different ways. The baby/toddler area (under 24 months) is better than many soft plays and it's great to go somewhere that is helping the local area.”

“I am in eternal gratitude to Mind. UK, I worked as a contemporary dance teacher and on the 9th of April 21 I woke up as tired as if I had run a marathon which led to 8 months bed-bound, another 2 hospitalised and it still goes on, all the recurrent hospital appointments. Mind. UK is helping me enormously with benefits and mental health. Their support allows me to find my ground and strength. It is a blessing that Mind. UK exists.”

“Everyone’s a winner with Foodcycle. The environment wins as we’re using food that would otherwise be wasted. The guests win because they’re enjoying good food with the good company. As a volunteer host though, I feel like the biggest winner! I get to meet amazing, fascinating people which helps me with my loneliness and mental health, and I feel like I’m providing a useful service which has improved my confidence. Thanks for this amazing opportunity to get involved in the local community!”

“I went to this YMCA for a group cycling instructor course. Adrian the tutor for the practical was amazing! He explained everything perfectly and I had a great day. Shout out to Alan in the YMCA cafe who made me a personalised special smoothie! He also does a great selection of wraps for the lunch break! I would give 5 stars if the admin side of my course were better- there wasn't great communication and I got my theory part of my course pretty late.”
