I have had Called to the Samaritans tonight Morning at 6;40 after waiting for longer than hour there's a guy who names is Alec Very Bad Guy Please ? i don't need to give details Just to say Samaritans please Close your doors u are not helping People in needing Samaritans doesn't help when we need Support. Samaritans is Just a Corruption Place who's taking Money Just for they interest

It?s a shame to see some of the negative reviews when my experience here as a listening volunteer has been great.Despite how challenging it can be, I am with a team of caring, kind and very empathetic people that will always be there when in need. I consider myself lucky to be a part of the team and I?m grateful I?ve had the opportunity to join Samaritans.Every volunteer I meet at Samaritans is always welcoming and willing to have a chat.

I don't agree with other reviews, they have always listen to me and haven't tried to rush me or push their way, they are a calming voice when I call screaming and crying my lungs out, and just to talk with them about anything makes it a little bit better. These guys go through so much without getting much in return, at least they deserve some gratitude

I have been advised to call the Samaritans throughout my life 100 times if I'm not feeling well. However I've never done so *once* in decades as I've not wanted to burden the Samaritans. I tried to call them 6 months ago and despite hanging on half an hour three times they didn't pick up the call. I tried four times again throughout today and once again they didn't pick up any call no matter how long I hung on - twice I waited for an hour.These jerks have made me MORE distressed than I was.Complete and utter waste of time. This organisation is just a PR exercise to satisfy egos of smug, useless narcissists who think they are doing good but in reality making people feel MUCH WORSE.
