Great breakfast spot in a historic area. I really recommend the pancakes for breakfast. The staff were also very kind and accommodating

Can honestly we were very disappointed when we had Afternoon Tea in the restaurant. One finger of a sandwich each (no choice on filing) which the bread was stale and dry, one very tiny scone each and one very small piece of cake. The worst afternoon tea we have ever experienced. Most of our group thought the same. Will not be returning sorry

It was a short break to our visit to Westminster abbey. Good for having a rest, coffee or beer

I got the chicken sandwich. The chicken was tender and juicy with nice tangy sauce. The tomatoes and vegetables were juicy and sweet. It also comes with a side of fries. The fries were crispy and soft. Perfect place to have lunch. Nice environment with cool air.

Perfect for a light, quick bite after touring Westminster Abbey. Soup of the day was delicious and filling. Sandwiches and salads were also very good.
Service was great, friendly, and not rushed at all.

A hidden gem in in Westminster Abbey. Fabulous food. Exceptional service very reasonable prices. The setting is amazing in historic previous monastery. The experience was delightful. My wife and I had Sunday Roast. Food was exceptional Reservations are suggested but not necessary

We went when it opened, it was very calm and quiet, and a very nice escape from the heat. Kind staff, good breakfast! Very reasonable prices considering location.

I visited with my mum this week and after the visit to the Abbey we decided to go for the afternoon tea. BIG mistake. It was not terrible, but average at best and hugely overpriced. If I had noticed this was a Benugo outlet, we would have gone for chicken sandwiches and fries... Highlights included acidic dry tomatoes, bland butter that was supposed to be truffled and grainy scones. Also, the sweets were covered by the green leaves that were supposed to decorate the savoury sandwiches. I had to ask three times for tap water and I never got a refill for my tea (which was also average). All that while seating that next to the waiters station. We had to pay £88 for this unforgettable experience. I honestly regret not having the courage to decline the service charge. On the same week my mum and I have been to Brighton and have grilled fish and a huge, fresh crab salad overlooking the sea with white wine for £55. What a waste of money.

Very good food, atmosphere with awful service, 1 person serving 25 people is not acceptable, truly awful.

I had tea and two scones, good for 1-2 people. I was a bit hungry so I had it all to myself. Scones come with a generous amount of butter and jam. Tea and scones were both delicious! Would come again!
