I?ve visited this Caffè Nero twice now, and I have to say it?s a very quiet spot, just like most cafés, which makes it a perfect place to get some work done on your laptop or simply relax. Although it's located on a main road, not many people tend to drop in, especially compared to other cafés I?ve seen, even those on quieter streets.
There are a few seats inside. It's not particularly large, but you?ll usually find a table to sit at, whether you?re working or meeting up with friends or colleagues. There are also 3 tables outside, which is great if you want to enjoy some sunshine with your food or drink.
The coffees I?ve ordered here have been pretty average, nothing special or unique. I was honestly surprised by how bland my caramel latte tasted compared to similar drinks at other cafés. That said, I don?t blame the staff, as I assume they're following standardized preparation methods.
I ordered a toastie to take away, and while it tasted great, it was quite greasy. By the time I got home, it had become a bit of a mess, the two halves stuck together and were difficult to separate. Still, it was delicious. It's hard for me to dislike a toastie ?.
The service was fairly standard. Having worked in hospitality myself, I?ve learned the importance of greeting customers as they enter. In a quiet café like this one, a friendly greeting would go a long way in making people feel welcome. On the plus side, my order came out quickly, which I appreciated. However, speed doesn?t always equate to quality, and to be fair, that?s often the nature of chain cafés, so I know not to expect too much.
Overall, it?s a nice spot to relax, get some work done, or catch up with friends or colleagues. You can even enjoy some alone time here. The food comes out quickly, but don?t expect it to blow your mind. The service is average, but the environment makes up for it.
Still, it's worth popping into if you?re feeling peckish or thirsty, prices are reasonable, and the space is calm.

Went in and ordered a honey oat latte. I was asked if I'd liked whipped cream which threw me off as it is an oat based drink. I asked the barista if the drink she had made me was dairy free to which she rolled her eyes and said no.
I have a severe intolerance to lactose. she re made the drink with no apology.
I may only have an intolerance, but if I was to have an allergy this may be a different review.

I mean a flatwhite shouldn't be made this hot. If you're making a coffee and you're charging £8.70 for 2 coffees, then give it your due. It's just ridiculous that you're selling this coffee, which isn't even worth £2, for so much.

A lovely spot with great coffee! I only had coffee, but it was high-quality and delicious. There was a small mix-up with my order-I asked for a double espresso but received a single. However, the staff quickly corrected it and made me a new one right away. The background music creates a pleasant atmosphere, offering a nice escape from the noise and traffic outside. Would definitely recommend
