They do not wash their milk pitchers between uses nor their espresso shot glasses.
When I asked the barista why, she was clueless and appeared confused by my question regarding their dirty milk pitchers.

Despite being open until 7pm, at 5pm the staff told everyone that the upstairs was closed, forcing everyone to squish together in the small downstairs seating area. At 6.45pm, the staff told everyone that the cafe was closing and made it clear that they wanted us to leave.

Only had a cappucino, which was quite nice. But a female staff member was blowing bubble gum at the counter!! Gross.
Place didn't look very clean either.

I miss when there was the manager, Lawrence. He was very friendly and lovely. The shop now looks strange, and the staff seem lazy and never look happy ?

Oh dear I believe the senior Caffe Nero team have forgotten about this site. It is not reflective of other Nero's I have been into recently. It is dark and gloomy, poorly maintained with a dirty floor. The staff don't seem to have been trained properly, no smiles, and really slow.....a very poor reflection on the Company as a whole. If this was the fist Nero I had been to I would never go to another. Best to close it or sort it !

Decent coffee but really poor mobile phone signal inside and the in-house wifi is the totally unusable Sky hotspot system, which requires that you *already have* signal in order to receive confirmation emails, password reset emails, etc, that you need to connect to the wifi (and the password reset emails in any case came with a dead 404 Error link)! Poor signal inside is a bizarrely common issue with Caffe Neros (do they paint the walls with lead? operate cafes that go deep inside buildings?) and the *hellish* Catch-22 nightmare that is the Sky wifi system is sadly a universal problem with them. I've given this cafe 3 stars b/c the wifi situation is the fault of some customer-hating boss much further up the organisation than the perfectly nice baristas here, but after wasting *an hour* at each of two different Caffe Neros where I just needed 20 mins of wifi/signal, I am in a mood to give it and every Nero in the country 1-star. It's 2025! If there isn't signal for all major mobile providers in your cafe you should provide wifi that doesn't require 10 mins of forms and then fails to connect you anyway b/c you don't have signal already!
