Love the location. The cafe is canteen style. The coffee was not great. Might give the food a try.

The Café in the Crypt is located beneath St Martin-in-the-Fields church on Trafalgar Square. This café has been here for 30 years. The crypt itself dates back to the 18th century, originally serving as a burial site. In the 1980s, the space was transformed into a café, retaining its original brick-vaulted ceilings and historic tombstones that line the floor. Look down on the floor and you?ll see it?s paved with gravestones!

Curious cafe to stop and have a drink in self-service mode. Good cafes, there is also some food. Over time it is just another cafeteria, perhaps the touch of originality has faded.

The variety of food is limited, but it is very good, it is self-service, but the place is very nice

I received one of the worst pizzas of my life. Extremely disgusting, warm cheese on tasteless, thin dough, with 10 small slices of burnt salami on top. I only ate a tiny piece and left the rest because it was simply inedible. Hours later, the cheese made itself felt. I had to wait a long time for the pizza and there weren't any trays available. Therefore zero points for the service. Only the location had some charm.

Today, the hot meal was, unfortunately, just warm. Disappointing. Coffee delicious, red wine delicious. Company very good, but my supper? I was very disappointed.

Nice place close to Trafalgar Square and the national gallery ! Cheaper than other coffees and offers the architecture of a crypt while drinking a traditional english tea ! My friend loved it
