Visited Brikki early evening on the 13th of August to collect a coffee for myself and friend who needed a pick me up, the barista added on a £1 tip when my back was turned. As I was turning back I saw him tampering with the chip and pin device. I thought it was odd that the price went up, and then discovered later (once I checked the receipt ) that a non-consensual tip was added! May be just a quid, but it?s not the point! Cheeky for them to be adding on tips without even asking, deceitful, shady and quiet practice. I went online and added feedback to the management team, but they never bothered responding and I never heard back from them. The manager mentioned none of her staff would do this, effectively calling me a liar. Mediocre, luke warm coffee in my opinion - it appears these dodgy practices are overlooked, upheld and protected by management. I won?t be rushing back

The coffee here is excellent, truly flavourful and the staff are super friendly. I often buy the beans to take home to use in a cafetiere. Unpretentious spot for excellent coffee, and the bougatsa is dreamy!

Great little cafe if you?re having Greek nostalgia. It?s busy, young and vibrant. They serve all the iced coffees you?d normally have in Greece. The crowded is mostly chilled young Greeks with a mixture of Londoners. Great little place.

Favorite coffee place in London. Dora and Tolis are the best

The location is good, comfortable and cosy interior, but the food offering is a bit vanilla - the cakes are pricey and mine was stale today sadly, a little heads up would have been appreciated - the staff are sometimes a bit down. I actually prefer Gail's to Briki, which is a shame as I really wanted to support a local business and not go to Gail's today.

For me this place is a safe haven in London and a pilgrimage coffee spot I go with my friends when I visit them. I have not tried the food except for one pastry which was nice I just can?t make a judgement for (although it looks fantastic every time). No, I go here for their freddo cappuccino which is honestly so refreshing during the hotter months and makes you feel like you?re in a little greece part of london. I love going here a lot and it deserves all the love!

It used to be a much better value for the money place. Coffee is probably just ok. Service is very unassuming with a new for London ask for a tip. Well, it does not feel like they are putting an effort for it. Location is the best part of it, sitting on a corner and seeing the Exmouth market crowd pass by.

They do well because of location, cute interior and lack of stronger competition, but the food offering is a bit poor and beige - the cakes are pricey dry - and the staff are sometimes a bit down. I actually prefer Gail's to Briki, which is a shame.
