Food was incredible. The host made my night. I am a coeliac and they were so considerate of my allergies and cross contamination - they were very vigilant about what was cooked in the oven with the bread vs what was grilled and what adaptions had to be made and which would undermine the dish etc. He was so sweet. Really made me feel like he cared rather than being a burden. Also the sole comes off the bone! (big win). All the food was excellent. - especially loved the cerviche. The bean side was a little underwhelming otherwise perfect.

Lovely food, we had the rib to share between four, it just melted in the mouth.
Service forgot a drink from our order, so it had to be reordered, and dirty plates were left a little too long, but otherwise good service.
It was a little crowded and noisy, but not too bad.

Great ambience, service, and most importantly, the food! Unique, delicious, and filling. Excellent cocktails, wine selections by the glass, and vegetarian options.
My wife and I orders the bread and butter, roasted corn, roasted vegetables, and courgettes, I had an oyster, scallop, and duck for my main, and she had the bean with chanterelle mushrooms. We shared the Basque cheesecake for dessert. The scallop, duck, courgettes, roasted greens, beans, and basque cheesecake were particular hits. Highly recommend!

Michelin star food at affordable prices. EVERYTHING tasted fresh. Just look at the photos. I mean the food actually tasted as good as they looked! Unlike some Michelin starred places. This is an unpretentious lil place that I will be shouting about for a long time :)

Simply wonderful meal. Very relaxed service.
The tables are somewhat close, but personally enjoy that as it encourages interactions with nearby diners.
The food was fantastic.

The whole turbot took one hour to cook so order your starter (seabass is good) if you're hungry. The atmosphere is very dark, the tables are quite close to each other.

Strange story here, but a few months ago I booked dinner for my mum and I at BRAT and had been looking forward to it for ages. I unfortunately contracted food poisoning shortly before going for dinner and was very unwell - couldn?t even think about eating anything but was trying to persevere. Luckily we were served by Millie who tried her best to help me by bringing me a fizzy drink to settle my stomach and some bread. I wish I could?ve eaten it because my mum said the bread with the onion butter was amazing! After about 10 minutes we had to unfortunately leave as my condition worsened. We realised after we had left that Millie didn?t charge us for the drink or bread - which we thought was lovely. Thanks for your great service Millie and good luck in Melbourne!!
