Absolutely brilliant team at Blackheath Eyecare. So refreshing to finally find an optician that actually cares for you rather than trying to sell you things unnecessarily. I have been suffering from an eye condition for a while now and no one has been able to work out what the issue was until I visited the team here. I will not be going anywhere else! I was recommended to Annupe at Blackheath Eyecare and I received the most in-depth eye examination and advice I have ever experienced after attending opticians for eye care for the last 51 years! I was told that i did not need to upgrade my glasses and the problems I was experiencing, which I thought were due to cataracts, have been eased by applying the eye drops which were given to me. All the team members were equally as attentive, efficient and helpful. I was so impressed I made an appointment for my husband who received the same wonderful care with a follow up scheduled for 6 months to monitor a possible issue. We were both delighted and feel we are now in very safe hands. I have, since then, attended for check ups and after a new eye test finally required new upgraded glasses. I was impressed with the care taken by Nathalie who gave me unstinted time, help and advice in making my selection- my new glasses are perfect. I do not hesitate in recommending Blackheath Eye care to anyone, even if you are not local it is worth travelling to this Outstanding opticians. Sandra Kisby

Always a pleasure to visit Blackheath eye care. Quality of care and kind service from terrific staff from the eye test to choosing glasses and the later fitting. Am very pleased with the frames of my latest glasses and I thank Nathalie for her patience as I took a while to decide what I wanted. I joined the eye plan scheme and benefited immediately from great discounts. When I got home with my glasses I discovered a small box of chocolates in the bag and one of these is decorated with spectacles! A lovely touch of warm humour .

I changed opticians this year due to poor service elsewhere locally. I can finally read the bottom line on the eye chart. And I feel like my prescription for contact lenses is the best it has been. My appointments for vision checks and contact lens fittings with Annupe Tawana have put to rest the anxiety I have felt over for decades when seeing the optometrist.I feel comfortable during the examination and confident in and happy with the results. My exam was thorough, with tests geared to my particular eye condition and clear explanations at every stage. The options offered me to further correct my vision have been well chosen and dead-on.The dispensing opticians who work at the practice are friendly and welcoming. I recommend Annupe Tawana and Blackheath Eyecare.

This is without doubt the best opticians I have used in my many years of eyecare. The team is really friendly and professional, and provide a great aftercare service. Ravi is an excellent optician; he always takes the time to explain everything clearly and it feels like a personalised service. I always feel really well looked after when I visit and highly recommend.

I have been coming to Blackheath Eyecare for over 15 years. I trust them completely. They carefully explain the results of my eye tests and give me clear advice. Very friendly too and this time were able to fit new lenses in my favourite old frames and have made them like new! I'm a very happy customer.

I went to Blackheath Eyecare this week for the first time and had a really positive experience. I was going for a regular check-in after not being in over 2 years. So naturally I had several questions about my eyes and my strabismus and mild astigmatism. The Optician took his time, was very patient and left me feeling really educated and pleased I had visited. I highly recommend Blackheath Eyecare.

Wow, what a service! The team at Blackheath Eyecare are so fantastic, they really take care to make sure you feel comfortable and looked after.My eye test was thorough and I felt very supported when running through the concerns I had with my eyes.I had new lenses fitted into my current frames and was originally told they would take around a week to be fitted. However the day after my appointment I received an email saying the glasses were ready to be picked up. I couldn?t believe how quickly they were ready and was very grateful to have my glasses back so quickly.Thank you!

Excellent detailed eye examination by friendly optician who explained exactly what was going on in my eyes. Wide choice of lovely frames, with "fashion' advice from qualified staff if required. Proper fitting and adjusting of the finished glasses . Result: an effective, comfortable, flattering and unusual pair of glasses that I am very happy to wear! Thank you, Blackheath Eyecare!
