Bought a baguette in the morning but realized when I got home it was partially stale must have been at least a day old. This really shouldn't happen for the prices they charge.

Given the world now has more dog owners than ever before, most upscale restaurant, bars, bakers, cafes (including Gail's) are dog friendly. Blackbird needs to update their rigid and outdated policies to avoid being left in the dirt. You have a store near to one of the largest parks in south london, a ginormous dog walking hub, but yet your bakery doe not allow dogs to enter and therefore dog owners to even purchase one of your tasty smoothies. The fact has completely changed my stance on the brand.
If you do want dogs and their owners I suggest also naming your lack of dog friendliness advertised clearly on your website and your stores to make this very clear.

Something changed recently, customer service is awful, last time I have been there were three girls that were chatting without paying attention I was there, I was told in a rude way that the slicer machine was broken and I should've read the paper attached in the bread shelves and usually I buy brown sardough but I found it changed since on month ago roughly....it is different. I still like how they bake so I will continue to go but something definitely changed.

Usually only stop for bread but needed a cake for my nieces birthday. Really lovely service I received the other day, especially from Nora! Thank you so much for your recommendation and tips on the cakes! It couldn?t have gone better. Very nice atmosphere in the shop recently

The food and the customer service is immaculate, a special thanks to Phoebe and Jodie for being lovely servers. My sandwich and hot chocolate makers were lovely ladies. I?d always recommend blackbird bakery to anyone.

Went in today and person at the till had no smile, her energy was uncomfortable it?s as if she didn?t want to be there I hardly go out and this is my 1st visit I think customer service has gone right down hill how the bread was amazing and I will buy again and I will comment if I get service like that again directly

I don't ever stay to eat here - but many do. Blackbird Bakery is synonymous with the local area. They began in West Norwood and have expanded south and east.
Their pastries are divine, but for me, the piece de la resistance is their Challah. I have mine on order to pick up on Friday evening after work. It is delicious, stays fresh for days, and doesn't affect my digestive system the way even sourdough does.
Pricey but worth it.

Branch in Crystal Palace was very chaotic on Saturday 4th May. Staff not fully prepared for the weekend customers. Example, getting orders and customers confused. I think having more room in their serving area to prepare orders would help. My rating is based on the experience of customer service and environment.
We ended up leaving and walking to Weston House - plenty of room, with organised staff - so eventually got our coffee and food. ?
