Wow what can I say , every bread I?ve tried is delicious and as for the pear tart and carrot cake delicious doesn?t even come close .
Well made the best I?ve tasted in my 61 years on this planet .

no frills, but decent quality
Went here not expecting much (the other cafés opposite had lines out the door) on a busy Sunday, but actually we had a great little breakfast here. The food is simple but good quality, and the prices aren't jacked up like some places (£13 for a whole home baked cake seems very reasonable for a London café).
Ham and cheese toastie, 8/10, I really rate this humble toastie..Super cheesy, little bit of onion chopped in for variety, very nice.
Coffee, 7/10, nice mild flavour, good coffee but slightly let down by that London-y tap water taste.
Croissant, 6/10, not that great, not too flaky
Decaf cappuccino, 7/10
Croissant knot, 7/10, Nicer than the regular croissant, a bit heavy maybe, but good flavours going on.
Overall found this place very charming, a nice place for a sit down, wait staff were lovely.

Shout out to the staff here yesterday who accommodated us and made us feel welcome shortly before closing when we wanted to enjoy a birthday tea + slice of Victoria sponge cake on a freezing stormy winter day. They really looked after us and went the extra mile. Thank you! ? PS. The Victoria sponge here is THE BEST!

We are in December, the door is kept wide open and there is no heating. I have come here to do some work and I am going to have to leave as it's too cold to stay still for too long.
I now remember why I avoid having coffee here in winter...
Close the door and have some heating on!!
