Feel compelled to write a positive review given all the negative reviews on here. The person helping at the sorting office personally intercepted mail to stop it being sent out again; and enabled me to collect it straight away! Given that my delivery was supposedly from Amazon (who should not be using Royal Mail in any case), this was particularly appreciated. Thank you so much!!

Worst service I've ever known. Asked for next day redelivery to a local post office and they've wrongly sent it 3 days later back to the address. Now I'm unable to collect my package as I'm leaving the country.

Never leave cards if they miss you, if you book a redelivery they won?t show up, queue is always massive at the delivery office and it?s barely opened - good luck

Absurd opening hours of 8am-10am most days of the week. Given how often Royal Mail ignore delivery instructions there is no excuse for not paying for one person to be in at least 9-5, or better yet in the early evening when people who do actually work are able to visit

The opening times of the collection office are ridiculous, how hard is it to have a member of staff in there 9-5? Also if you are only going to be open for 2 hours then those 2 hours should be 19:00-21:00 when everyone can actually collect their parcel, not 8-10am when most people are at or on their way to work! They should just constantly redeliver instead and close the collection office down as it's basically useless.

Horrible service have had medicine Spose to be delivered on 2 occasions, both time no one turned up, and recorded as missed delivery, the lady on the phone didn?t care, no sort of compensation, no effort to try help just said wait till Monday. This battersea office needs an big audit on staff. They are all lazy, delivery staff and in department staff. Had a friend who worked here and left. Was told they just do hardly anything.Thanks Royal Mail. The service has sure gone worse over the years..I live around the corner and still nothing can be done.

About 25% of the time they bungle the delivery. Sometimes they fail to find my address, sometimes they don't leave a card, often they leave a card but don't have my package "booked in" when I come to collect it. Expect nothing from the staff when interacting with them in person and you will not be disappointed.

dont bother getting special delivery guaranteed, they will never deliver it on time for some reason.

Absolutely garbage service. No attempt made to deliver my item three days in a row even though I live less than 10m away from DO. Had to book multiple days off work to receive my delivery only to be told delivery was not successful although no attempt was made. Delivery slip was also not left at my address, and the only reason I was able to find out my delivery was not made was via online tracking. When attempting to call and make a complaint, am subject to ridiculous waiting times only to be told it is my fault for not being present for a delivery I was present for, and that did not exist. Convinced my parcel has been stolen and keeps being indefinitely delayed as a slip has not been left enabling me to collect my parcel, but yet staff has no interest in helping resolve the issue, further convincing me they are aware my parcel was stolen. I paid for special delivery and yet have now had to wait over a week for next day delivery, and miss several days of work. Absolutely terrible.

Very hit and miss and usually miss. Still blaming the pandemic for their poor service. Don't even try calling them .. you're only wasting your time! 48hr tracked through these guys... give another 48hrs on top ... sort it out Royal Mail !

If I could post minus stars then I would do. Furious. Parcel sent from Monica Vinader, tracking absolutely fine until Friday and then nothing. Postman appears this morning dumps parcel on doorstep which I pick up immediately. You can see from the pictures that the parcel has been opened. Surprise surprise, item inside has been stolen. Less than no chance of getting compensation. Well done, that's someone's Christmas present gone.
