Excellent workmanship with great attention to detail and intelligent problem solving skills in view of confounding building associated structural problems along the way. Michael, Aga and Carl are an endlessly patient, friendly and helpful team. They are able to bring your kitchen dreams into reality. Balau Kitchens is an excellent company who are clearly passionate about what they do . The attention to detail and quality of workmanship is fantastic. Aga listened carefully to what I wanted then helped to make it a reality with lots of helpful suggestions along the way and very patient and responsive with any questions. Carl and Michael installed the kitchen with such care and attention to detail. I am very happy with our new kitchen and cannot recommend them highly enough.

It is with great pleasure we are posting feedback on Balau Kitchen.When we embarked on planning the kitchen for our large extension, we had no idea of what style we wanted ? Country / Shabby chic / Traditional / Contemporary. However, after working closely with Aga at Balau, the style of the kitchen just seemed to evolve and very much to our satisfaction.Aga was always careful not to force her opinion on you but volunteered suggestions and provided direction if needed. We could not be happier with the support we have received from Aga, Michael and Karl.We were initially reticent about getting a quote for a bespoke kitchen through concerns about costs. However, after having quotes from some of the well known off-the-shelf kitchen suppliers and comparing the finished product, we are now 100% happy with our decision to opt for the bespoke product at a slightly higher cost.Apart from ending up with a very stylish kitchen with the ?wow? factor, it exudes quality and just ?works? from a functionality perspective.When completing a project like this and, after the dust has settled, people often think of what they would do differently. I am overjoyed with my dream kitchen from Aga, Michael and Karl at Balau Kitchens. Aga listened patiently to my needs and worked hard at planning the kitchen within my limited budget without compromising her attention to detail. Karl and Michael who is a perfectionist and an effective problem solver worked meticulously on the installation and finished within the promised time scale. It was a joy to have them working in my home and I cannot recommend them highly enough.

After 6 ½ years it still gives me a thrill to use and admire the kitchen which Michal Spiessens (now trading as Balau Kitchens) installed for me in 2011. He and his sister Aga designed it to my requirements and no detail was overlooked. It was beyond my expectations that the grain of the wood veneer on the cupboard doors flows continuously from one cupboard to the next right around the kitchen as if all the doors and drawers are made from one piece of wood . This is a feature I would expect only in the most upmarket installations and yet the price I paid was very reasonable. The materials and fittings used are of high quality throughout and after years of use the kitchen still looks pristine and is a pleasure to use. Michal takes great pride in his work and it was a pleasure to deal with him. I can?t recommend Balau Kitchens highly enough.

Balau Kitchens are a fantastic company. The design service is excellent and helped us to create exactly the kitchen that we had hoped for. What sets them apart is their attention to detail and the fact that Mike and his small team are happy to go the extra mile to ensure that the works are carried out to the highest possible standard and with real care and consideration. The whole project kept to time and to budget with any unforeseen issues dealt with in a proactive and practical way with no increase to costs. They are also very friendly and utterly trustworthy.

We recently had our kitchen and wardrobes done by Balau and I am so pleased with the results I keep having to pinch myself! We already had a few quotes from other companies but were not entirely happy with the designs. From the very first visit both Aga and Carl were so welcoming and helpful that they made us feel like nothing was too much to ask for. I had a vague idea of what I wanted my kitchen to look like but with Aga's vision and guidance she gave me the kitchen of my dreams! No query was too much, no question too silly, she answered everything with grace and understanding despite my worries. She did several drawings for me to see what the end result would be and gave us so many good ideas and advice as to what would work and where and what wouldn't! She thought about every little detail and is such a perfectionist it felt very reassuring that our project was in good hands. Her in depth knowledge and design skills were evident all throughout the process and I can't praise or thank her enough for giving us such a stunning quality kitchen! As we were so impressed by the kitchen we also had three bedroom wardrobes done by them and again they didn't disappoint. Aga and Carl are husband and wife and Aga's brother Michael does the fitting so it's a real family affair and I think that gives it the personal touch that makes all the difference from getting a good service to getting an excellent service. Both our kitchen and our wardrobes have impressed whoever has seen them and I cannot recommend Balau highly enough. For good solid quality kitchens and personable design, advice and service please do seriously consider them. Thank you once again Aga, Carl and Michael.

Balau Kitchens, Michael and Aga are a team that compliment each other in everyway.Aga was fantastic with her sense of detail, professional approach and sound advice. Fantastic attention to detail, accurate timetabling and thoroughly pleasant to deal with. This was quite big job gutting our sitting room and kitchen area, reconfiguring the space and having new kitchen, floors and radiators. Aga planned it meticulously and kept a grip on costs so there were no surprises and we finished bang on budget. Michael did the bulk of the work itself. His insistence on getting the design right and his meticulousness in carrying out the work mean that we have a smart, sophisticated kitchen at a quality beyond what you get for this price elsewhere. All cabinets were bespoke and very good quality. I doubt that there is any company to match Balau Kitchens

Excellent service with a real dedication to quality. We didn't plan to get another quote, but were visiting the Harris kitchen shop and they encouraged us to enquire. The designs in the shop looked a bit modern for our house, but they encouraged us to with their commitment to a full project management. The result is stunning.
