Came to the shop today. No hello, no customer service. Asked if they had more wallets specifically in brown colour while holding a red wallet, a member of staff said ?that one is brown? while walking away, didn?t tell me if there were more brown wallets neither showed me any wallets at all.

I don?t usually leave reviews for retail shops however I was so taken aback by my experience in this store today. One young lady (I believe her name is Lucy) was incredibly helpful and patient with me as I deliberated over multiple different colours of an item. When she was busy with another customer, I turned to the store manager who hadn?t acknowledged me and was just shrewdly watching the exchange between Lucy and this customer. After getting his attention, he smugly replied to my very innocent question about the product?s comparative longevity in different leathers: ?how long is a piece of string?. Sir, maybe you just learnt the expression and were keen to shoehorn it into a conversation, however this is never the appropriate response in a customer facing role. He was visibly controlling and rude to both his colleague and customers. After I asked him to be nicer when he addressed me, his attitude changed somewhat but the damage was done. Lucy?s exceptional customer service and product knowledge is the only reason this was not a 1 star review. Aspinal normally holds itself to a far better standard of service than this and I am sure this one member of staff is the exception, not the rule.

Be calm..I accidentally entered this shop instead of the shop next door and asked a question regarding a bag. The gentleman behind desk got so angry that his color changed. He didn't even respond when I said sorry. But why?? . Might be the rudest behavior I've ever seen

Like so many other reviews here I am appalled by the lack of customer service from this supposedly reputable company. I know they won?t respond to this as they haven?t responded to any one else complaining.
For the third time I have waited over 20 minutes on the phone in a queue for my call to be answered only to be disconnected. I have left 2 messages requesting a call back. I have sent 5 emails and numerous direct messages. The live chat is constantly unavailable.
I ordered a wallet before Christmas and for some reason Aspinal duplicated the order charging and sending it twice. I got through to Aspinal who confirmed by email it was their mistake and to return the second wallet. I then had to wait for over a month and several emails for them to refund me the money incorrectly taken. However I have realised they have had the cheek to charge me for the postage and gift wrap on an order I did not place by deducting £10 from my refund. Is anyone from Aspinal interested? I can?t even find a way to speak to them.
Interested if anyone has any suggestions?.?

I ordered and it?s never arrived. I?ve yet to have a response to my email and I?ve not been refunded. Will never recommend this company extremely disappointed. Will go to which ever means I paid with and report for charge back if it?s not sorted by the end of this month.

What absolute shocking customer service chasing a refund going back to last year and apparently you?ve had so many returns I?ve still got to wait despite returning it to you 25 days ago. No response from emails 20 mins waiting time on the phone to be told you are busy - well aren?t we all !!!

They have no staff available to help with existing delayed orders, online chat is unavailable and their contact number hangs up after 20 minutes. But they will be more than happy to connect you with a member of staff should you want to buy something. Putting new customers before existing customers infuriates me.
