I went to Specsavers for an eye test and took my own frame to Asda to get the £80 (1.74 lenses) lenses. Specsavers charges £180 and Vision Express charges £280 for these lenses but they do offer better professional advice and service.

horrible opticians! Do not come here. I had an appointment booked, they even sent me a confirmation with date and time. I arrived for my appointment only to find out that it they had changed the time and did not let me know and the Optician left for the day??? Their excuse is that they tried to call me? If an appointment is already booked then don't changed it on the behalf of the client and go home only for the client to arrive and there is no one available to lead my consultation... Also the costumer service lady made me wait because she was sorting out shopping for the ASDA colleague ? this is the opticians, if employees want to shop shouldn't they use the cashiers at the front?...

Very rude staff, unprofessional, I had appointment for my kids when I went in the store I was told I was meant to confirm appointment and because I didn't call them to confirm they said they can only see 2 of the children, I told them I book this appointment because its my kids school holiday and I wasn't told this with I came into store to book appointment, this is not the first time, every time I come to this store they do this, last time I had to come collect my kids glass I had to book appointment for kids glasses collection, when I went in they told me the person that checked kids glasses went home in a emergency, I asked why I was notified the ladies at the desk said sorry we forgot and while I was there they said oh yeah lets call the other customers before they come in, infront of me they started to make calls to other customers to telling them not to come in. I don't understand why they didn't call when they were just sitting there laughing away talking not busy at all, that time there didn't want to contact me to tell me not to attend, and this time they couldn't see my kids at the appointment time booked because I didn't call to tell them im still coming, very stupid and silly I just walked out and said I will go somewhere else. don't waste your time with asda opticians
