Horrible customer service. Staff are absolutely miserable and borderline rude. Stay away from this haven of depression, the specimen I saw looked like she hadn't slept in 4 days and made it out like it was my fault!

Having gone to specsavers for years this year I had my eyes tested and 2as given a cost for nearly £400. My prescription is quite strong, varifocals and having to pay extra to thin my lenses.My friend recommended I try Asda opticians so went there on Sunday. Very happy with the outcome at a total cost of £120 including sunglasses. Look forward to picking them up.

They seldom answer the phone; if they do everything is rushed. The service is basic and you should expect to be standing around for ages even if punctual. Not sure what, but something ought to change.

Really helpful, friendly and knowledgeable staff at Asda Opticians Leyton Mills. Big range of frames to choose from and great value at two pairs of variofocals for £120.

I was really pleased. A pair of varifocal glasses in a frame that looks fine for £42.50. I didn't have a problem with the staff, we all have bad days and these strange times we live in face to face customers service for rubbish money is the last job I would want also I thinkit depends what attitude you bring to the table as to how others treat you..not a difficult concept to follow. But I must say 'Answer the bloody Phone'

I don't normally write reviews but I can't stress enough how terrible this place is. I have been going to this place for years but there is still yet to be any improvements. The range of glasses you can get are very limited, as the majority look absolutely terrible. I remember when I was younger and I had no other choice but to pick some really skinny, slender glasses that were branded with a childs tv programme.Well today, after a year I returned to Asda Opticians, and still saw that all the glasses looked so poor, you can tell that not a lot of money is used on making these glasses. I had no other choice but to buy a pair of glasses, which were in very poor quality for £40.10 that didn't suit me at all. I later changed my mind, called them and asked to cancel my order because on their website it states that "You are able to cancel your order for any reason within 7 working days" but they didn't allow it because it is already being made.So please, if you are an adult, do not get scammed by this place, there are plently of good opticians nearby as well which provide decent glasses for lower prices. And if you are a child, just know that you could be receiving better looking glasses for free or a low price.Personally, I will never go to that place again, I wouldn't even look in that direction when walking past.

Met Paula at the Asda Leyton Optician today and was really pleased with her service and her knowledge. Prior to visiting this store, I had been to other independent opticians and by far this was the best! Thank you so much Paula & good luck with your charity walk later today!

No one EVER answers the phone! I have called at various different times of the day and have left numerous messages on their answerphone and no one rings back.
