I ordered a bike from Argos that I naively thought would come pre-built. When it came in a giant box that there was no way I could get home, Sasha and Khia spent an hour of their time helping me build it right there in the store. They both were incredibly kind and went out of their way to help me, finding me a screwdriver, putting the bike together, even letting me use their phone to watch a tutorial. Really going above and beyond for me.

I ordered a weight set online to be delivered between 2pm and 6pm on Sunday 11th December. I waited in and then received a text message to say that the driver is 3 minutes away. I waited and no one knocked, rang the buzzer or called me. So, I went outside and no sign of the driver. I then tried to call the driver on the number provided and no answer. After waiting for 4 hours, I get a message to say that the driver was unable to deliver, despite me being in and him supposedly being 3 minutes away. I then went on live chat and I was given short blunt answers with no apology or solution. She was unable to answer any questions and just said they take no responsibility as per their terms and conditions. I was not rude, I was just simply trying to find out what happened and why my time has been wasted. When I asked how to make a formal complaint, she said that she is the complaints department. I've been shopping at argos for over 25 years and they have got progressively worse over the last 2 years. Do not order from them.

I was there on Nov 22, 2020 to return my jewelry under warranty. The stuff is completely incompetent and arrogant!! They were totally unhelpful and sent me to another store even though they could fix the problem. That Argos branch with the people who work there is useless!!!

Rhianna at the till didn't provide the warranty leaflet that she suppose to staple to the receipt (as it clearly says on the monitor in the store when ordering) and obviously didn't bother returning the change and why would you return a customers pennies!!!. Terrible bad habits that need sorting out. The other lady who collected my order was helpful with my query regarding my damaged old product

Extremely poor service with rude n unhelpful staff refusing to give my new phone which my sister paid for online for me to collect it cos my sister was not with me to show her argos card. Considering she is self isolate due to covid 19 n i am vulnerable myself i need the phone

Have wasted 45 min bec had to go back home to get my Argos card otherwise they wouldn't give me the items purchased online. Quite pointless considering you don't even check the card details but just want to see if i had the card with me (???)

Yet ANOTHER terrible experience using Argos Clapham. Last time, 'Same Day' became 7 days before we had to cancel due to non arrival. The latest in the Argos saga is a 'Talking soft toys assortment', yet upon wasting time to collect, it seems 'toyS' (plural), 'assortment' (Oxford Dictionary: 'a miscellaneous collection') and an image with THREE toys - ACTUALLY means JUST ONE. Argos are just the worst crooked company praying on customers with false promises and misleading promotions. New year's family resolution: STOP buying from Argos.
