We had a number of issues with a mattress we bought from the ATSB. Fortunately, all issues were solved by Alex at ASTB, Kings Road. He sent round an expert to our house to determine that our mattress was faulty and then set up a number of mattress options at the store prior to our arrival to choose a replacement free of charge. We were offered a mattress upgrade as well as a mattress topper in his solutions. Outstanding customer service and same day response to all communications turned what was a very bad experience into one which means I will go back to the store and will recommend ASTB. I have to say that e were I most impressed by the assistance we received at your King's Road branch when buying a new superking bed on Saturdayfor our house in dorset. Alex and his assistant were most helpful, knowledgeable and charming. Our purchase was an excellent retail experience and one of the best we have ever received such that we may well purchase, because of my husband's height, an extra long super king for our house in London to replace the king-size vi-spring bed which we purchased some thirty years ago . I wish I could give them negative stars. Despite the high cost of the beds, I have received the worst customer experience of my life. I purchased a £3000 mattress from them 3 months ago and I stil don't have it. I have called them with at least 6 times and then they never follow through. I finally got a delivery scheduled for today and they just called to say they don't have it in stock (system error, lol) and we have to wait another week. I regret ever walking in to their store.

Very unwelcoming. My partner and I walked in and the man at the front desk looked up at us and didn't even say hello or offer to help. We walked to the woman at the back who we asked for help, but one of her first questions was "what is your budget for your bed" rather than what we were looking for. We didn't have a budget but were made to feel as a younger couple that our business was not of importance. I would recommend instead Button and Sprung, a short walk away who had incredible customer service, who gave us our own pillow on arrival to try out the beds, who show you around the different ones and explained what would work for us before showing us to an upper, dimly lit floor where you can try them and ring a bell if you need help. Basically, visiting here was like the scene from Pretty Woman. We went elsewhere and spent our money where it was valued

Brilliant shop, helpful, knowledgeable and attentive staff, great deals right now too. Great choice of beds and mattresses, and we ended up getting something just right. Couldn't recommend highly enough.

As I walked into the store I could be excused for thinking that I was going into a very exclusive clothes shop in Sloane Street, Dark blue pillars and silver door furniture gives off an amazing feeling of opulence. An absolutely amazing shop with some of the most luxurious beds I have ever seen. I know I shouldn't get excited about a bed store but this has to be seen to be believed. It is like going back in time to an England that had castles and stately homes that we lived in and not owned by the national trust. From the modern to unashamedly traditional - they don't come cheap and they take on commissions to build the bed to your chosen specification or eccentricity. They also offer and manufacture cupboards, chest of drawers, bedside tables in any style you can imagine for oriental to Georgian etc. That said, you probably need a very large house in Chelsea and more money the Roman Abramovich to be able to afford to buy anything in this shop - £3000 and upwards and you are somewhere close to a new bed.
