This was a last minute reservation but we're so glad we did it. Amazing experience! Beautiful room, excellent food and delicious dessert. Absolutely wonderful experience.

The desserts are wonderful, and the service is attentive. The only thing is, the price seems a bit too high for afternoon tea.

The place is simply amazing. We went for the tea time for a birthday celebration. The place was cosy, with a nice ambiance music that was not too loud. The service was friendly and helpful. Our orders came quickly and the tea delicious, we were able to try a lot of different kinds. The food itself was incredible, we particularly loved the savoury bits. We were able to accommodate to replace the fish option without any issues. The sweets were a bit too heavy on cream for us, but the flavours were delicate and interesting. Would definitely recommend for a comfy and warm family moment. Will come back again.

Scone & Clotted cream was good. Others are just in average.

Don't have high expectations and definitely don't come hungry. The savoury options were tasty but tiny, think bite-sized (no refills except you can have 1 additional savoury morsel). The scones were nice but also the world's tiniest. The desserts were nice but very sweet and difficult to eat all at once (you can take them with you). The selection of teas was decent and good quality but they steep it for you and you have to ask them if you would like it a different strength which takes a long time. You may not have time to try other teas. Oh and if you get offered water, you won't be told it's an extra £5 for that water, on top of the 13.5% service charge, for a total of £75 for a disappointing afternoon tea where you will leave hungry. Avoid.

Very good food with good service. However, not cheap.

This place seems wonderful , but very expensive . We got driven off by the high price of 60£ per person before we could order anything ?

Visited UK for fun and always wanted to try the british afternoon tea time and this place did not disappointed. Linda our server was the sweetest, straightforward, helped us to chose the right tea.

The Parlour saved my butt! I needed a last-minute place for a large group on Election Day. Although we only got coffee and pastries, the service, food, and atmosphere were perfect. Thanks to the whole team for their support and we will definitely be back.

We had a wonderful experience at The Parlour for afternoon tea. We were lucky and snagged a table at 1pm on Thursday without a reservation - the restaurant filled up when we were leaving at 3pm.
The menu is meticulously crafted with seasonal bites refreshed every 3 months. Avelin was exceptional in guiding us through the tea experience and menu course. Every bite was delicious and flavors went well together, using quality ingredients. Teas were also brewed to perfection using the finest leaves - never bitter and full of flavor. Price is on the steeper side but for us, it was worth every penny. 10/10 experience to close out our trip.

I recently had the pleasure of indulging in the Bergamotto di Positano Afternoon Tea at The Parlour, located in the elegant Great Scotland Yard Hotel, and it was an exceptional experience, this themed afternoon tea perfectly captures the essence of Positano, transporting you to the Amalfi Coast with every bite.
The experience began with a selection of savouries that were both creative and delicious. The Aubergine and Onion Compote Focaccia was a delightful surprise; its rich and savoury taste was a true highlight. The Ricotta, Pistachio Sandwich was an exquisite blend of textures and flavours, showcasing a sophisticated twist on a classic combination.
The warm, freshly baked scones served here did not disappoint. They were accompanied by a delightful assortment of tea cakes and pastries that were as beautiful as they were delicious.
The cake Amalfi Lemon Delight, I absolutely loved it! The burst of fresh lemon flavor and the perfectly moist cake made it an unforgettable treat.
The assortment of teas available was impressive, and the staff were knowledgeable and attentive, helping me to choose the perfect tea to complement the meal. The service throughout my visit was impeccable.
Overall, the Bergamotto di Positano Afternoon Tea at The Parlour is a must-try for anyone looking to enjoy a luxurious and memorable dining experience in Central London. The combination of exquisite food, elegant ambiance, and outstanding service makes it a standout experience.
Thank you for the lovely experience, I will be back soon!
