Ace Eyewear has outstanding customer service. Michael is prompt, knowledgeable and very helpful.My 12 year old daughter just had her first appointment to begin wearing contacts. Doctor Rohina was incredibly patient throughout the appointment. She had helpful tips for my daughter and gave her calm one-on-one attention for over an hour. Highly recommend Ace Eyewear!

I'm always fussy with my frames and it's hard for me to find one that suits my facial features.In the end I have decided for a frame that was not cheap but was low-key designer (meaning there was no logo anywhere). It was from a brand I haven't seen anywhere else (Thierry Lasry). I have received many compliments wearing them - it's a combination of geeky, goofy and artsy.I bought them with prescriptions glasses just before Christmas 2022. They have different types of glasses of which one is from an exquisite Japanese manufacturer.I ideally needed the glasses just before Christmas and they were shutting down early for the holidays, leaving us with very little time.The glasses have arrived earlier than I thought. We thought it would come after Christmas but they have arrived before Christmas. As I did not expect that I could not go and collect it at short notice and it was the last day before their Christmas break.I asked them if they can drop it off at the Dog & Fox reception which is right opposite to them (I'm not associated with them in any way, just a local pub of mine) but they said they'd not recommend me doing that even at my own responsibility.They then have personally dropped it off at my home address (yes someone drove up to mine free of charge and dropped it off in person) as they believed even shipping it with Royal Mail would cause a delay. Thank you so much for this service, it was and still is much appreciated.This review is long overdue but I still remember this great service and realised I haven't left the much deserved and overdue 5* star review. Thank you once again for going out of your way to deliver my glasses.The eye test was the best I have ever had, very comprehensive and with the latest equipment and technology. The place was also super clean. The optometrist was very competent and knowledgeable, explaining me everything.I hope to have you in SW19 for many more years to come and should you ever consider moving, please let your existing customers know.I will be back for an eye test soon, and to tighten my frame.Thank you for helping me out back then.

I could not recommend Ace Eyewear and Michael highly enough! They have become the go-to for all the eyewear needs for my family and I will remain coming back to them. Michael is attentive, thoughtful and extremely knowledgeable and objective. He has incredible style and a wonderful selection and I look forward to adding to my collection from him over the years.

A wonderful experience for what is always quite a difficult decision when I am purchasing new frames and lens. Michael was so professional, friendly and gave me proper advice for both my frames and lens selection. Having visited all 4 opticians in the Wimbledon village, we selected Ace Eyewear as they impressed us the most. We met Michael who was ever so patient, friendly and knowledgeable. They had some really nice frames.Rohini?s examination was superb. The OCT scan she used goes to the back of the eyes giving much more clinical data to give a better health assessment. This was the best examination I have had froman optician.The spectacles were delivered on time and both Michael and Rohini were fantastic.

There are 3 opticians within a few feet of each other in the High Street. We visited all 3. One was closed for lunch on a Saturday, and was still closed 30 minutes after their sign said they would be open (J Fairley); the other (a chain) was sort of helpful it though it would take too long for the emergency set I needed in 5 days; but Ace Eyewear was more than helpful and particularly what would suit my husband (a traditionalist). He swooped down a dozen pair and explained the pros/cons to each type of material used in the frames and helped us make the decision. Plus, we get them in 3 days. Definitely recommended.
