This is a cemetery which means a lot of graves. This cemetery lives up to that billing. There’s also a nice old church building thing for ceremonies. It’s famous for the graves for the Salvation army founder and his family and the graves are prominently positioned. A few other nice monuments and graves dotted about....

This cemetery is so beautiful.

When the cemetery is closed I wish you’d put a note on both gates as it saves walking round to be disappointed- I’d have gone elsewhere had a note been displayed on the main entrance. It’s such a waist of dog walking time.

Abney Park is open - please check the details listed for park opening and closing times. Due to the restoration project works, the Abney Park Trust office is currently closed to the public.
The Stoke Newington High St entrance will be closed from 15 June until 31st July for essential construction works. Please use the Church St entrance during this time.
The current closing time is 8.30pm.
