Since using A* Star Cobblers, I have never looked back. I am always impressed by the quality of the repairs, in particular the hand stitching on replacement soles. The owner is always welcoming and patient! I highly recommend A* Star Cobblers you will not be disappointed.

Errol is honest and skillful. I am a Deputy Headteacher, so walk around 6 miles a day in smart boots/ shoes. He saved four pairs of boots and doubled their lifespan. Highly recommended for craftsmanship.

My 25 yo boots were desperate for new commando soles. Incredible workmanship, can't see the join and like new. Hopefully last for another 25 years. A craftsman, hard to find these days.

Excellent service. Took a couple of pairs in and I'm delighted with the results. One pair I'd had for a long time and I thought it might be curtains, but A-Star did a fantastic job and they've got a new lease of life. Highly recommended and a very fair price for quality work.

Took in a pair of vintage brown boots in to have a rubber sole added. When I got them back they were perfect. Looked exactly like they did before but much easier to walk in now and nicely polished. Will be recommending his services and brining more shoes in, in the future
