Phone ahead to check if donations are being accepted.I walked a long way with a bag of new and nearly new books and blu-ray DVDS only to be summarily dismissed by the woman at the counter because my items weren?t wanted.I?m upset about the wasted time but more by the way I was spoken to, as if I?d done something offensive. Feeling pretty sad and dejected after this visit. Not likely to go back, will definitely not recommend to friends as a place to pass on donations.

OK store. The clothes are not significantly cheap, and I noticed a Reiss item really bumped up in price compared to other items.DVDs four for £1Quite a lot of books and mostly £1.50 to £2One woman was on the phone whilst working, but it's a bit distracting for customers, at first I thought she was a customer, and also signals that she's unavailable for assistance if she talking on the phone. The shop is a mess, the mirror is partially blocked by piles of clothes and the till area is cluttered with allsorts. The other woman who served me forgot to hand me one of my items, I just about got an apology for that as I was leaving the shop.

I went there the 3rd of July in the afternoon. The lady at the till was on the phone with a friend. A customer was paying for several items. She didn't stop talking over the phone, didn't acknowledge any of us, didn't greet, didn't talk or even look at the person in front of her. She was only interested in talking to her friend (it clearly wasn't a work related call). I was there to donate about 15 dvds. She briefly asked me what i needed and then told me to leave my DVDs in a corner of the shop. She obviously was too busy on the phone to even collect them herself. The moment I had to leave I was expecting at least to hear a "thank you and goodbye". Instead I got an absolute nothing. She actually looked a little bit annoyed when I finally had to say goodbye to her. This service is appalling and the lady has no idea what good manners are. I suggest you go to places where people are polite and kind enough to at least say hi, thank you and goodbye. And that's the minimum standard.
