Do yourself a favour and avoid this place, as it?s very badly run, with frequent over bookings, noisy, dirty, unsafe, and worst service ever, better book and stay at nearby newer property of another

This hotel is very tired, and my friends room smelled of cat urine. The showers did not drain properly so the room also smelled of wet and mould from the water leaking onto the floor. The bathroom floor was also dirty and soap dispenser was hanging off the wall. Disappointing stay.

The building smells ? . My experience at Travelodge Kingston Upon Thames Central left much to be desired. Upon entering the building, I noticed a strong smell of smoke, which was off-putting. Additionally, the cleanliness of the premises was not up to par, with noticeable areas of neglect. Furthermore, I encountered an issue with my room door being jammed, which added to the overall dissatisfaction with my stay. Overall, I was disappointed with the condition of the hotel and would caution others considering a visit.

Absolutely the worst customer service I have had the misfortune to experience. All I wanted was to have a civil conversation and resolution due to their system freezing and taking 2 payments. Instead I got attitude and told to ?do what I like? by their representative when I challenged him and asked how his company might like the negative publicity.Bizarre behaviour especially considering the situation hospitality finds itself in these days.

I don?t understand the point of 12pm checkout time when the cleaners come demanding to clean your room at 9am. They just said ?I need to clean the room now? after waking me up with constant knocking. I said no I?m not checking out till 12 yet she came back at 10am and did the same.Nearby activities: Good

Don't stay here. Go next do to the Premier Inn or anywhere really!I have spent 2 nights here, not at my will, there is a particleboard with our home so my insurance has put me here twice.I just left 1 hours after checking in as I would rather be in my house full of I than here.Upon entry there is a strong smell of urine in the lobby. The room was small and grubby, the cups were used and dirty and the charging points didn't work on one side of the bed.I thought I'll have a quick shower and just get to sleep... there was no soap in the dispenser and the shower had two options, ice cold and boiling hot so I got out, dried off and left my left at reception. The guy popped his head round the corner as he must have heard the lift and I told him I was checking out and he smiled and said OK. He wasn't bothered or curious which tells you a lot about how often that happens or about the clientele and what goes on in that place.Travelodge used to be OK as it was the budget option and the standard was average. Now it's £90 and the standard is disgusting and that's without breakfast. As I mentioned, there is a Premier Inn next door that has been lovely every time I've stayed, for a few more quid, go there. The rooms are lovely, the breakfast is nice, everything works and it doesn't smell off urine.Rooms: Gross

I'm American and stayed here for a couple of nights. The staff was awesome. I got here early and they got me a room, even though it wasn't check-in time. We bought an English cake from Aldi and they warmed it up for us, and gave us a plate and fork. The floors in the room are dirty, but then again... So are the Hilton's and Marriott's. It's normal to expect this. I do think the trash bins should be a bit bigger, although I know space is limited. There is a tv and no ac, but it really wasn't bad. We had a fan that we put between the windows to allow cool air from outside in. I would definitely stay here again. Plus it's near a happening neighborhood and the river Thames is a short walk with many restaurants to choose from. Thank you management and staff.Rooms: Floors are dirty, but then again so are other big name hotels. They do have a Roomba that cleans the hallways.. Super cool.Nearby activities: Mall, market, foreign currency exchange store, restaurants, the river Thames, movie theater, bowling, shops,Walkability: Everything is close by.Food & drinks: So many options from Korean, Mediterranean, Italian, and so much more.

No frills = really no frills at all. Remote control doesn't work for TV, no hairdryer, USB ports not working by bed, no plugs near bed and can't even cool a veggie sausage. That said, I ended up with a food voucher for dinner (thanks company) which wasn't too bad. Clearly there isn't a chef trained from all over the world to make fresh curries, Turkish flatbread and stone baked pizzas on site - but somehow, the food was ok.

Staff was nice and the hotel is well located, close to everything in Kingston upon Thames. However, our room windows were not really air tight, letting wind get inside and also the noises of the drunks outside. It was clean however and cheap so you get what you pay for, I guess.
