Great value rooms for such a central location. The reception staff are lovely, but housekeeping is very much substandard. They did not clean our room at all, just took out the rubbish without even replacing the bin bag. Did not refill the tea/coffee either, and beddings weren't changed. It can be noisy at night due to the location.

The housekeeping does not meet expectations, 9/10 towels and bed sheets come dirty with some sort of stain on them and there is no manager ever here, there is not regular housekeeping and have complained to reception multiple times..The room itself is fine but no one keeps things clean

I stayed at short notice due to horrible plumbing issues at home meaning I couldn?t stay in my flat that night. I was feeling very upset and let down by the managing agent of the building I live in as they had not been very helpful. Then I was checked in by Irena. She was so kind, helpful and caring and really made me feel better and start to smile when all of wanted to do was cry or scream till then. The room was decent and the facilities were as expected.

This was the cheapest lodging in London that wasn?t a hostel. As far as cleanliness goes, the duvet covers and carpet were stained and multiple mirrors+the TV had child handprints on them. There was a guest above us that was stomping around nonstop all night and day. You can hear some sounds from outside such as ambulances or people yelling, but not enough to really keep you from a good nights sleep despite the club around the corner. Service is average, though we did have to wait a good 15 minutes for someone to greet us at reception to check in. Only one of the 3 keycards we received worked, and we were provided 2 towels with 3 people on the reservation. If your phone service is okay, don?t bother paying for wifi, it?s pretty poor.On the flip side, there are plenty of outlets with usb ports which was lovely to have right next to the bed instead of having to used my outlet converter for everything. In the winter the building is kept warm but not stifling, and there are plenty of shops and food options within a 5 min walking distance. Additionally, the water pressure and heating is phenomenal. It?s a place to sleep and that?s about it.

It's very very simple. Rather old fashioned. Comfortable bed. If you had the toilet seat down the bathroom door wouldnt shut. I wasn't impressed with the breakfast, it's just a box with a few continental items. There's was no option to what was in the box was I didn't eat as I didn't like the items.

Very dissapointed. The lift wasn't working and as my husband had mobility problems it completely spoiled our visit, he had to painfully struggle to the 2nd floor every time we went out. Enquired about a room on a lower floor hut was told there weren't any

Good experience at this hotel as it is clean and safe compared to other Travelodge hotels. During my stay I was welcomed and accommodated by Irina. Unlike other people she is very enthusiastic with her work and does go above and beyond what is expected. Fab service.

Great location in Kingston. 5 min walk to train station. Will return in the future ?

The bed was comfortable, the hotel was quiet and clean. It is not very luxurious, but I can say that it meets the need. The downside: no hair dryer in the room. Towel was missing.

Stayed there yesterday on 03/08/2022, room 319. My room was filthy, the toilet lid was pi**ed on and wasn't cleaned, thought I was going to vomit. Hair in the shower. Didn't dare to make tea or coffee and I was praying the bed was clean. Got there late and was too tired to complain, left as early in the morning as I could. I had been to Travelodge before and never seen it so bad. Also carpets, furniture etc. are worn off and old, that doesn't bother me that much as dirty room. Room was also very hot, had a fan full full of dust, didn't touch it. Will never stay there again.

Cons: Avoid this Travelodge like a plague, especially when the weather is warm as there is no air conditioning. We were given a small fan but it was still sweltering. The rooms and bathrooms needs an update, very tired looking. Our bathroom also reeks of urine. One can definitely find somewhere better for the same price.Pro: Conveniently located, smack right in the middle of the town centre. Staff has been fab, responding quickly to our requests for fan/extra towels etc.

Awful hotel. Payed 112£ for a night. The desk in the room is dirty. The bathroom is dirty with someone else?s hair.Shower water is not going away. The floor has strong wear marks and is dirty. No A/C ( a shame for this price category especially when it is 40 degrees outside like today.I?ve never written such a negative comment, but this is just soooooooo bad.

Awful hotel (if you are looking for a hotel in this price range, choose Premier Inn instead). Paid £129 a night for a room. The room itself is dated, border line clean and you can hear the steps of people from the floor above. The corridors are dirty, the carpet worn out, you can clearly see spots where people have been sick. The smell around the hotel itself if just awful. The elevator safety is questionable. Poor lighting in the corridors with multiple lights not working.Security to get into the hotel itself is non existent with the security point to go through doors with a key only not working and hence all doors are accessible to any floor to anyone (including the elevator).Emailed a complaint through the contact us page and got an automated message to say they will get back in 7 working days. The staff at the desk are not given any powers and hence can?t help you.Definitely would like to speak to someone about this.

This hotel is good for central location with pleasant & helpful staff. Unfortunately once you?ve checked in you are greeted with filthy, stained carpets in the corridors and similar in the rooms. This makes you pay extra attention to the rest of the room demonstrating marks on the walls, marks on the towels, marks on the pillow cases, broken curtain hooks, dirty windows and damaged room light shade. The rooms & bathroom are tired and anyone should expect a better standard than this. The bed was comfortable so that was something. The room WiFi we paid extra for was fairly hopeless as was the extra charge for a breakfast which is a box of cold items.I would not stay at this Travelodge again.

Most of the pictures are fake. It was not as big as the pictures. It has only 4 floors, and the elevator is suspicious. My sister and I were on our way to the restaurant and we were afraid to ride the elevator so we wouldn't get stuck in it. The staff is not friendly at all. It was my little sister's leg broken And she needed a chair to rest a little and the employee started screaming and we were begging her. The chair was not helpful at all. The view from the window was very bad, all I could see was a giant building and rubbish on the ground. The carpet was very dirty and old the rooms are not soundproof and you can hear a noise at one o'clock at night it's the worst experience in my life
