I had a disappointing experience at this Starbucks. I initially ordered a tall Matcha Frappuccino but quickly changed my mind and asked to upgrade it to a grande size before the order was even processed. Despite clarifying this right away, I was later given an tall iced Matcha Green Tea Latte instead ? not what I ordered.
It was clear that the staff member taking my order (her name is Angela if I remember) was unfamiliar with the menu or not properly trained. Mistakes happen, but this one could have easily been avoided with a bit more attention. I hope the team receives better training going forward, especially in distinguishing between popular items on the menu.
Would recommend double-checking your order if you visit.

God knows why, but for some reason my shortbread slice was covered in salt. Disgusting. I seriously hope that was a one-off. The staff member who served me was impolite, and openly gossiping to her colleagues right in front of customers. How can one make such a lousy attempt at presenting a professional appearance? Very disappointed, will not return.

Deliveroo was total jerks to me and didn't wanna refund an order that had spilled. Although they shoulda wrapped it in cellophane the manager was very apologetic and re made my drink.

Standard Starbucks.
The space inside is quite tight, not easy to navigate if not in a standard thin abled body or with prams.

Mate I love Starbucks and go to stores all over the country (I travel for work) but this branch is really letting the side down, bad service and ages and ages to get drinks!!!! Why and how? It doesn?t happen at any other branch even busy west end stores full of tourists etc but this Kingston store is just bad, I will give it a miss next time ? it?s not even busy and they can?t seem to make drinks in a decent amount of time - not again

workers are so unbelievably rude, will have extremely long conversations with coworkers despite customers waiting to be served. there was a blond lady who literally dashed my panini at me. don't know i did to deserve this treatment it makes me sad i am a loyal starbucks customer. its ok though, caffe nero down the road you will never see me again goodbye.

In the heart of Kingston this is a nice location to catch up with friends or just chill out with a book. The usual range of Starbucks products and some delicious cakes. The service could be better and the manner in which I was told the toilet was out of action was abrupt and rude. The main toilet was out of action but as a RADAR key holder I could see the other wasn't but I was still refused entry. No big deal but it's just how these things are handled that makes the difference.
