My 2 boys and I have been using Horrock and Boyd for nearly a decade. I?m always satisfied with their excellent customer service, good quality optical equipments, thorough eye examinations and a warm friendly atmosphere. Special gratitude to the company manager Jack who always treats his customers with sincere care, attention to detail and patience.Recently, my son broke the bridge between his rim on his glasses and Jack was able to replace his frame straightaway. My concerns about my son?s glasses were quickly solved by the professional service and care I received.I would highly recommend Horrock&Boyd.

I visited Horrocks and Boyd and was thoroughly impressed with the advanced equipment they have. Jayne is reassuring and provided a thorough eye examination, putting my mind at ease. There are a large selection of frames and Neelum the dispensing optician was very kind and helpful at going through the lens options and frames. I would recommend this opticians to everyone.

Fuming !£900 for 2 pairs of glasses and within 10 months the frames are falling apart.My glasses are carefully looked after and live in their cases, so this isn't a case of wear and tear.

Horrocks and Boyd have been our opticians for more than a decade . We have got to know them well. The review? They're brilliant. Their equipment is always kept up to date, their optometrists have always got our prescriptions perfect but more importantly their dispensing opticians are ingenious meaning we get really good solutions for our glasses

All the staff at H&B are extremely friendly and helpful. I received very detailed information about the results of my eye tests and thereafter good guidance when choosing new glasses. I recommend H&B very strongly indeed if you want a good optician who offers friendly personal service and attention.

We had excellent care from the team at Horrocks and Boyd, namely Jayne, Nik and Neelum. My pre-teen daughter was determined to wear contact lenses, and I think only Neelum?s kind nature and incredible patience over multiple tutorials, teaching her how to put lenses in, has made this possible. We are incredibly grateful.

My experience of Horrocks & Boyd, and of Jack the Manager's service, was absolutely brilliant. I had a particularly tricky problem to solve regarding the lenses needed, & Jack worked tirelessly towards a solution. I felt reassured throughout the time it took; he made it unstressful, I felt as if nothing was too much trouble & communication was excellent. I'm delighted with the end result. I am sincerely grateful & cannot recommend this Practice highly enough. Absolutely exceptional all round.

This has got to be one of my best retail experiences, ever.From the moment I first visited this shop, Natalie introduced herself and patiently took me through their range of specs, then my second visit to see the Optometrist (Amy) for my eye test and on my final visit to pick up my new spectacles Neelum (Dispensing Optician) made sure that I was happy with my new glasses. A very friendly atmosphere from all the staff whilst I was there. John

I have seen a number of opticians over the years and although all have been very good Horrocks & Boyd have stood out as exceptional. Both in terms of the service they provide, their professionalism and personal approach. Although they are always busy their premises are never packed out like a supermarket.
