“Another trip to Obon for my pescatarian mother. The greeting and service overall was awesome. We ordered a Yamato Platter (with a couple of mods) and soft drinks (tea, mineral water). Every member of staff (FOH, kitchen) was friendly and smiley but also natural in their demeanor. We weren't rushed, pushed anything and any "specific" requests were dealt with happily and with ZERO fuss. The fish was fresh-tasting, well presented and plentiful. It baffles me that this place is ONLY #4 in Kingston. When it comes to quality, value and service; this place is the best in London. Book your table! It is (quite rightly) very busy every night. I'm a waiter, done this sh!t for 32yrs with all sorts of companies. These guys do it better than I've ever seen. Polite, efficient, tasty, plentiful, amicable and reasonable on the wallet. I'm so happy this place is only 10min walk from my home.”

“Very friendly and went the extra mile. I wanted to buy the very popular hippo plush toys. There were 2 left on shelf, but one had a bit of a deflated head. I asked the man at the till if he had another out back, he came back with another 4 for me and let me take my time choosing.”

“I bought a great pair of yachting shoes and boots today and the guy Andrew was a total gentleman, very helpful and the shoes are £130 down to £60 and the boots very good quality £60 . Andrew was so cool and even gave me extra off because I bought 2 pairs. They have Doc martens birchenstock sandles too and hush puppies all at great prices and Clarks quality. I discovered this place in 2020 and so glad it's still here.”
