Bought my car here over a month ago for a service and since then Ive been getting a sound from the enegine every time I start it up in the morning. Did bring it back here a couple of weeks ago for the guy at reception to show me everything was fine with the most disgusted look on his face. Took it elsewhere and they confirmed an item which is looked at as part of the service has been damaged & will cost a couple of £100. I would never suggest to go here because they are not honest in the slightest. I also had oil leakage around the enegine which wasnt picked up by them so now Im wondering whether they actually even did a service.Service: General repairs & maintenance

I would not recommend this garage . My engine service was not up to the expected standard. My serpentine belt snapped days after the engine service. They claim this is not part of standard service, however it most certainly should have been picked up and told me about it. Other garages I have been to let the engine run for 40 minutes to check for any issues. A quick job was done. A much more serious accident could have occurred.

I used this garage between 2008 and 2014 and did not have any negative views at the time even though some of the jobs were very expensive and problems kept recurring. However in 2014 after reporting a water leak they diagnosed that my head gasket had gone and I should write off the car. I took the car to a garage in Croydon who diagnosed and replaced the expansion tank for £165. Fast forward the car is still running over 6 years after these cowboys suggested a write off and it has just passed Mot for another year. The garage in Croydon has often remarked how shoddily some of work carried out by Elton Motors has been. I am glad the garage closed in Surbiton.
